I have not defended anything, you are still lying. Show the multiple posts. Put them in quotations and prove me wrong. You cannot find any. My entire point this entire time is that nobody should be for or against a drug for political reasons and it is between the doctor and the patient.

I'll ask the question as I did on another thread. Why do you people hate Ivermectin? Why do you celebrate when a possible treatment for Covid is found to not be efficacious? So more people can die?.

If a biotech company initiated a study using Ivermectin for small cell carcinomas and it proved not to work would you be waving your poms poms?

Who are "they"? Ivermectin has been approved for human use since 1987 and a generic version is made by 100 different companies. You are just making this up as you go.

 

Has it been approved for use with COVID?

 

You just keep doing this kind of thing to these sweet inoffensive people.

 

If this is about withholding a cheaper more effective option then why are these “doctors” not promoting “awake proning” which only take a couple of pillows and an ability to lie on your stomach.

 

I don’t hate it

I just want people to follow the science and NOT recommend off label uses for medications where effectiveness has not been proven. Yes, there are instances where drugs have been used “off label” and that even goes for ivermectin where it was being used to treat “Crusted scabies” prior to the approval for this use but in that case it was a related disorder to what it was approved for and there was strong indications for its use. In the case of Ivermectin and COVID the hype was based on a couple of in vitro studies (not in vivo and not even animal studies) and those studies concluded that although there was some indication it might work as an antiviral the dose required was massively higher than the normal recommended dose

 

I agree you support has been implicit rather than explicit but your repeated assertions that “it is FDA approved” whilst defending the medical officers who are scamming people with this gives a distinct impression that you support off label use.
I would be less critical if you showed a willingness to discuss the underpinning research
