My wife works at our local hospital and runs the department that verify's insurance or helps people find coverage if they don't have any. She is concerned that there has been zero information from the government about what's going to happen if Obamacare passes.

There has been no documentation or memo's about what to expect, what is covered, how much is covered or bascially any information about anything. We are just under 2 years out and she says that time is running out for them to prepare for a greater influx of people.

She also says that the doctors are confused about how many more people they can expect and if they need more supplies or what type of medical conditions they are expected to treat which is affecting their personel decisions. They don't know whether to hire more doctors or specialists or if the government is going to help pay for a larger staff.

Bascially no direction whatsoever from the Obama Administration. My wife says that without knowing what to change in regards to an expected increase in hospital visits that they cannot handle more people in their current system.

According to her, this is a disaster in the making and she doubts that Obama actually ever intended for this bill to pass. If he did, she says, her hospital would already have had contact with the government about what is expected to happen.
