Apparently the democrats in the House are refusing to apologize the way Obama did for misleading us about Obamacare.

Obama said, "The problem with the grandfather clause that we put into place is its almost like we said to folks, you got to buy a new car, even if you can't afford it right now."

However, the House Democrats disagree. So does everyone think that the democrats in the House think Obama is lying or just an idiot?

The best reason we have to throw another 63 out of the House like in 2010.

Wow, no partisan dead heads here to defend the democrat party or Obama?

I'm not sure I've ever seen that here before.

That's because they are still in denial about it. If they don't realize the situation they will go down hard next election.

I realize that most just focus in on the next election, to which I say, the GOP will do no better.

Mark it down, if and when the GOP gets in office, nothing of substance will change. Obamacare will still be the law of the land, they will still run massive deficits, and probably not even pass budgets like they have done for years now. Oh, and they will probably get a McCain clone to attack Syria or Iran or both.

My only point in this thread is to show the hypocrisy and stupidity of partisan politics, not to just throw the GOP back in so that they can pass massive entitlements and spend like they did under "W".

They think that Obama cannot disguise the fact that he knowingly lied to every man, woman, and child inside the borders of the United States of America for the last three years and that they do not want to agree with their president regarding his weak-as-water mea culpa lest that gets interpreted (and rightly so) as a confession that they, too, knowingly and deliberately lied to the people of this nation for the last three years. So it's the political equivalent of fleas infested rats deserting their fleas infested rat king while his ship of state slowly settles to its gunnels in a high seas condition. Sweet!

Unfortunately I agree with you. I would like to think that the GOP leadership has learned bitter lessons from the dual failed presidencies of Bush and Obama and their avoidance of any semblance of fiscal responsibilities, but -- alas -- I fully expect a victorious GOP leadership in 2016 -- should a Republican win the Oval Office -- to immediately begin committing all of the old mistakes again.

People should realize that they have no choice. The only choices are massive spending, wars abroad, continued illegal immigration, and continued entitlements.

Both parties go about these in different ways, but both end up on the same road to hell.

Again, sadly, we are in agreement.

Not having a real choice at the voting polls is like living under Mubarak rule in Egypt, only, the faces keep changing somewhat.

I guess this explains why Congress has only a 5% approval rating and why Presidents after 2 terms end up with approval ratings less than 50% every single time.

And we have the nerve to export democracy as if the US even knows what one is?

Yep. That's why I support the creation of a truly viable and co-equal third party system. Not that I see it actually happening in the remainder of my lifetime.

That is true. I am no big fan of the GOP either but the liberal progs have gone too far and should be taken down a peg or three. Of course they will and probably have screwed themselves.
