Trying to attach sole blame to one side or the other is nothing more than hyper partisanship rhetoric. What you have or had was both the Democratic and Republican leadership putting political party over country and loyalty to party over loyalty to nation. This is why congress as a whole has an approval rating of 10% or below. This is why the majority of all Americans view both political parties in a very negative light.
