Without the dossier the FBI would not have even tried to get a warrant. Pretty simple.

The 2013 event Page was involved with was several Russian spies trying to get information from him.

That does not mean that Page knew they were spies, nor does it mean he was "working with them".

In fact, the Russians in question were arrested, yet Page was not arrested.

Why do you think Page wasn't arrested? Go ahead and break that down for me.

 

Its all supported by evidence including testimony from the very most senior people in the intelligence and law enforcement bodies.

And don't worry we too recognize its incomplete and want more but as it stands the missing pieces remain classified.

The facts there are enough. The FBI used an unverified political opponents opposition research disquised as FBI intelligence to spy on an American during a presidential campaign. There is that pesky constitution and the 4th amendment and all y'all like to trash.

Your request for the FISA application might be a hard one since the FBI refused to turn it over to Congress.

 

FISA order on an American citizen must be renewed by FISC every 90 days & requires a separate finding of probable cause. FBI & DOJ obtained one initial FISA warrant targeting Page & 3 FISA renewals from the FISC. What probable cause existed, besides the dossier, on each renewal?

 

no, that is one of many things... the problem is republicans did not list the other sources and methods used, thus claiming only this one document was used

if I do a report, and accuse someone of working with Russia or being a terrorist, it may be included in the information for a FISA request, but you can bet they will verify with additional sources and methods before being allowed a FISA warrant - my accusation may cause the FBI to start looking at them, but it would not be the sole
