You are also ignoring the long-term and permanent morbidity from Covid-19 versus common cold or flu.

The death toll is far from done.

 

So freedom to pursue your livelihood is passé, citizens don't have unalienable rights (except for non-citizen illegal migrants), and it's okay for the government to cancel your job and put your company out of business, but you have to pay your late and overdue bills in a couple of months anyway.

No I'm not ignoring anything. I'm aware of the new cases in children and I'm aware that deaths won't stop today, or tomorrow, or ten years from now, since viruses can't be "cured". They only become less virulent over many mutations and still primarily kill the very aged and fragile.

Ofcourse preexisting conditions matter and over half the US population have some sort of preexisting conditions but even non-obese, non-smokers are being killed or impaired long-term by this corona virus. How do you ignore that?
