You never been there? dude your missing out.you got to go sometime.as late as the early 90's they still had the original fence that was there in november 1963 but they redid it sometime around then and its not there now.I was fortunate enough to have been there when it was still up and got pictures of it.
If you're going to Dallas in November, you should probably wait until 2013. I don't know for certain, but I'd imagine that there will be a commemoration of some sort. BTW - November 22nd, 2013 is a Friday. Strange how that works... FWIW - One thing you'll be amazed at if/when you visit Dealey Plaza, is just how small an area it is! And... if you really want to see some interesting photographs of JFK's visit to Dallas, there's one place that's really off the beaten path that's worth checking out - it's the McDonald's inside Parkland Hospital.
I was close to Dallas this year, in OK City on business. I wanted to drive down, but time did not allow it. 2013? Really, you think the USA as it is today will still be around by 2013? I would not take that bet. TSA is taking over transportation, and long before then, you will need passports, and travel papers to leave a city, let alone leave a state, if it continues the way it is going. Our freedoms are almost gone.
