Is a particular paper fraudulent? I don't know. I am not versed in all the sciences. I have to consider the source. Honestly I don't read papers anyway.

Yet you feel it's common sense to pick and choose what is correct and what isn't?

If you read the abstract of papers, you'll see how often the author is non committal. Saying things like A suggests B.

The uneducated are often the tool of people's agenda.

    Try reading start with abstracts.

When looking at the information and then realize it is shared by every legitimate scientific organization on earth AND this agrees with my own experience......and I am an old Alabama hillbilly I ain't readin no abstracts. I am a retired carpenter/ fabricator with foundry experience. And NASA ,the USDA, the CDC etc. are all political entities. That does not mean they are wrong.

You said you don't read them so how do you even know what the information is?

Your position is most likely informed strictly by political tribalism or the desire to appear more enlightened by your political group. It isn't based on an understanding of science because you admitted to not reading it.

What you are participating in is a religion.

I'm not telling you that you are wrong, I'm not saying I'm right. I'm saying you should read. And learn instead of being a pawn.

If I post it, I trust it. But a review of Retraction Watch makes clear there's an issue deeper than personal preference.

Usually information is posted at the NOAA website, NASA website, USDA website, and countless others. You don't need to be an engineer to know man went to the moon. Or a climatologist to know the climate is changing. These folk also say why it is changing.

And they back their conclusions on solid science rather than opinions and blogs run by oil and coal companies that do not want to see profits shrink

So you just trust based on legacy not on accuracy?

    Sounds like a religion.

I don't have to prove your religion wrong that's not the way it works. You have to prove it correct for it to be considered fact.

The burden of proof is on you.
