And then again, we see nothing of a contribution except the proclaimed innocence. BUT hey, if you have nothing to offer then you could attack the poster.

    Just to point something out...
    First post to the thread
    Second post
Gwen never supposedly insulted anybody, Oh wait claim others as misogynists is NOT insulting is it??? Is there any real attempt at discussion??? No simply posting points to say others are wrong, with NO real evidence. Which means those who wish to make this a gender specific conversation are just making up the figures to suite their own agenda.

BUT hey we knew the Grubs would come in to hijack threads to make themselves sound far more than they really are. We have seen the true agenda in other threads, and that is nothing but insult to others, A little like you except they are far more vailed than you are…

Much dv goes unreported. In middle class or upper middle class (and the very, very monied class) it happens but victims don't call the police. They see their doctor or religious counsellor/advisor or some other professionals, but not the police. In working class or underprivileged households there is no compunction about calling the police, once the victim gets over the fear of retribution for doing so. I think therefore that the figures are going to be skewed. Booze and hard drugs feature largely in dv.

But there are some situations where there are no drugs and booze and that's the controller types of relationship. I suspect they are more likely to end up in murders of victims than the booze/drug situations. I mean, you read of men who travel long distances to find a wife or lover that walked out on them and they murder them in cold blood. That is nutter territory. A couple of cases here in South Australia involved a bloke who came from Darwin to murder his ex and even one who came from the Channel Islands in the UK all the way to Adelaide to then stab his ex wife to death in a private hospital. That's not someone getting pissed up and cranky, that's full on sick bastard material.

Anyway, toss the ideological bull(*)(*)(*)(*), this stuff is real.

Men do lose the plot sometimes seemingly, usually is a cheating spouse or imagined cheating, and go off the deep end mentally. I think people need to stop being violent fullstop, get a hobby. If it cannot be avoided men still don't need to lose control - there is no excuse, we all now fights are between 2 people but there is never a reason to unleash on a smaller person no matter how much they annoy you. If you cannot handle it, leave.

That is not correct. Gwen fired the first shot, by calling posters misogynists in her posting #16.

Gwen's bias towards men has to be recognised and questioned, when she refused to acknowledge that there are women in our society who do have "penis envy", and who do "hate men".

Calling someone a misogynist for focusing on this has to beg the question? Can Gwen be unbias?

Its called: don't shoot the messenger.

I have a solution, Gun Control, you all still have too much access to Guns, that is why you have so much Domestic type violence, ban all Guns and your Domestic Violence problem will simply vanish in a puff of Logic, POOF !

Guns have never been the problem, its always been alcohol. Unfortunately the stupid people have been coned into believing guns are the main issue, because alcohol brings in to much revenue.

Alcohol destroys more lives and families in one year than all the guns and drugs combined in ten years.

Perhaps, but I really enjoy a few drinks, had Bourbon last night, neat, real smooth !!!

I awoke feeling well and refreshed, drinking is bad if you over do it, and wake with a hangover......

Agree. We have a problem within our society that NO ONE wants to take personal responsibility for their actions and behaviour anymore and expect to everyone else solve their problems.

Its called the "big baby" syndrome.
