The annual Christian procession in Mexico is failing miserably as a scary distraction from the P-Grabber's mounting scandals.

The major need for a diversion means that it's time to bomb Assad (despite Trump's Nazi supporters at Daily Stormer raving "NEIN!"

Do you really think all of the damage happened after the school was closed?

    How sbout this one?

What do you think should be done to fix the problem?

And it was done by students. And it will no doubt happen again.

But the left says it would be racist to do so.

Teachers on the scene claims he exacerbated the problem. Why should I not believe them?

Anyone can claim anything is pure bullshit. The article quoted teachers from across the country. Why should I not believe them?

    What's really going on?

There's some kind of Photoshop going on there. Like they have overlaid a picture of the class when it had students on the top of a photo of the classroom after it had been abandoned and vandalized.

I don't like deception :( I realize it's the internet and oftentimes images are misrepresented, so this may have been a legitimate accident, but still...

It will in many cases because of how schools deal with the situation, but there's no reason it has to go down that way.
It depends upon who you talk to on the left. Upper middle class leftists are more likely to come up with handwringing BS while lower-income leftists dealing with the problem directly are more likely to think in terms of the structured classroom situation I described.

Do nothing for disruptive kids, and I'm not talking about serious criminal types, would be a mistake for society because these kids if left uneducated become problem adults.
Sure, Obama hidn't help. But there's no reason people closer to the problem couldn't have dealt with the situation as I suggested. In fact, many do.

The problem of student violence is actually getting better...

... but there's no excuse IMO for the level we have today.

The NY Post article is either unformed or outright propaganda. We can and should do better. The solution isn't letting schools go to hell in a fit of that-will-show-them.
The short version? A socialist school system (real socialism with the means of production collectivized) where there are too many imcompetent administrators and teachers wasting too much of what litle money they have. As well, the system is too political because of the socialist organization with far too many people who know very little about how people learn foisting their ideas on too many stupid or indifferent administrators who then push the ideas on classroom teachers, many of whom are too stupid to know how to resist. Our schools are a disaster.

All ordinary Americans know how to burn garbage. That is why they elected Trump.

You're persistent enough that it suggests you're looking for excuses.

I have a suggestion for you ... instead of picking at photos to justify in your mind screwing over schools more, why don't you get a clue about how bad things are?

Look at the "then" part of the picture--the facility was dingy and unsatisfactory when it was in operation.

Amazing! It's not the schools or how much money they have, The reason that Asian students outperform their peers in the classroom has nothing to do with how they were born and everything to do with how they are raised.

So instead of admitting you made a mistake with the photograph -- or admitting you were trying to pass off photoshopped propaganda -- or admitting maybe you yourself were fooled by leftist propaganda -- you adopted the left's tactic of personal attacks by implying it is me who should "get a clue"?

    Fail.

And here I was, foolishly giving you the benefit of a doubt that you were worth conversing with, far-far-leftist or not. o_O

    Sigh. That figures. :hmm:

It's not that simple although the influence of culture is important. Still, money makes a difference in the quality of teachers that allows us to overcome the negative cultural influences impacting students.

I taught school for three decades, so the idea I was "fooled by leftist propagandal" is flat STUPID. For what it's worth to you, I support school vouchers provided they're large enough to provide low-income families with sufficient funding to get their children out of public schools.

The picture is OBVIOUSLY superimposed on another photo. Even the URL says as much.

    https://static.boredpanda.com/blog/wp-content/uuuploads/then-and-now-abandoned-school-in-detroit/then-and-now-abandoned-school-in-detroit-10.jpg
I ran a business with 100 employees and taught economics. Apparently, you wouldn't know a "far-far-leftist" if one ran up your leg and gave you a thrill.
Why do you believe that guy?

The pictures came off this website... https://www.boredpanda.com/ and can be found easily by googling "Detroit schools" and looking at the Images tab.

If you want to see all the pictures, go here...

The whole shtick is superimposing then and now photos. Sheesh.

I am not surprised by this development at all. This is nothing more than an invasion; we are being occupied and colonized by these Spaniards and there is no doubt about the occupation. Another aspect that comes as no surprise is the willingness of many American politicians who actually champion and defend the invasion. If you ask me, and nobody did, I would bring everyone who supports the invasion with active overt cooperation and those who give tacit approval. In my mind, no Libertarian, Anarchist or any other who gives a rat's behind about life in this country, would actually support these people and their obvious aggression(s) against this country so they need to have charges of TREASON levied against them.

I disagree in part with your post. Where I disagree is that yes both political parties and the money of the Deep State want the illegals here but they are not the only ones who want them here, the construction industry also wants them here. Where I disagree is that the illegals being here are part of the problem because it is not like they are ignorant as to the impact of them being here has on certain segments of the population in America, heck they are even arrogant about the fact of them being protected by the governors of California, New York etc, as well as the Attorney Generals of said states protecting them. The question is why? From what I know, the people behind them being here, including average citizens do so because of the negative impact that it takes on certain segments of the population as I have already mentioned because as much as people like to pretend that it is non-existent or not as bad as some make it, I am stating that it is still as bad and the use of these illegals as "people of color" is a smokescreen to divert attention from the works of the political class behind them being here and the others who wish to use them illegals as a cover for their unending diabolical plannings.

Who wants to work in Baltimore schools? The sad thing about inner city schools is that they're short of money they need, but giving them more money won't solve the problem because they squander it. A state government might improve things by taking over sn inner city school district, but I think states themselves are sufficiently bureaucratic and political that a takeover may not make much difference.

In my three decades of teaching, I became convinced government-run schools are incapable of delivering a first-rate education. Privatized schooling is a better approach.

The only way to stop illegals from coming is to put in place an effective e-verify system that will stop them from working even as dometic help or day labor. We have to make illegals RADIOACTIVE to employers. If Trumpites continue following the shiny object (the border wall) and don't insist Trump gets behind e-verify, I think an important oppotunity may be forever lost.

Stop with the "Deep State" stuff. It's just Big Bucks chasing their interests, the country be damned.
    $$$

Some average folks are afraid friends or members of their family will be deported or unable to join them here via family reunification. Others are sympathetic to these people. Perhaps there is some comprise here in return for stopping future illegals dead in their tracks.

As long as the voucher will cover the entire tuition cost so poor parents can afford to get their kids away from the public school system, I'm a voucher fan.

It's OK. The caravan is the families of Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio returning from vacation.
