    lol! im black, and I kinda see it as a 'im black and proud' ad, but seriously! I find it amusing, and it actually makes me want a donut! lol :D
    btw, the only problem I would see with the ad is if they made her lips all big, like the kkk used to have on their posters during rallies, but other than that I kinda like it.

    The donut poster pic combines certain racial elements, including some traditional 'coon caricature' features (very black skin, red lips) with the Asian model's features. The tension created serves the advertising purpose of arresting people's attention. Yes, they are exploiting the coon caricature, but not in an explicit or demeaning way. I think HRW could pick better battles to fight.

    I mean, it's not Coon Flakes....
