I was at the World Trade Center Memorial the other day and saw a screaming truther just outside the structure on Liberty. It was par for the course but I got to thinking again about the vast number of people who think the world is somehow run by a collectivity of people who are doing all manner of things, hiding knowledge, and creating chaos for no apparent reason. This is a strange and unusual mindset I have spoken about before but I am struck by the lack of logic in the thought process of many. Beginning with the 9-11 truther, which I have honestly become a little obsessed with, but going back to all manner of events: Pearl Harbor, JFK and RFK killings, Moon Landing, Shuttle explosion, free energy, etc. etc etc. Not a single thing happens anymore that someone isn't looking for a nefarious purpose, even a pregnant woman passing out on TV while the President is speaking. It is sad that some must live their lives this way. But I have to ask why? Why, when faced with facts, do they continue to push their agenda? For some I am sure that it makes them feel important or smart, things they normally are not in their walking around world. For some I think it might be they need the attention, and it doesn't matter how they get it. But there are people who can process thought and yet seem to just give up on it and focus on the ever muddled conspiracy theories that have become part of them. There is always room for questions, but once the questions are answered what do you have left? What was that man screaming in Lower Manhattan that was new information? What was his point? I don't know. But I encounter it on the boards here all the time. Some almost benign silliness and other times potentially dangerous violence inspiring rhetoric. So here is a clue: 1. 9-11 was committed by Islamist terrorists who used the softness of the United States to plan and execute a rather simple plan of flying planes into buildings. President George W Bush and Vice-resident Dick Cheney had nothing to do with it. 2. President Obama was born in Hawaii. 3. Ancient Aliens did not build the pyramids in Egypt nor South America. They did not give people fire and there were no light bulbs in Ancient Egypt. 4. The Jews do not control the world nor have a plan to do so. While there are many wealthy Jews there are also many in poverty. There is no one Jewish imperative, in fact, there is an adage "2 Jews 3 opinions". 5. The killings at Sandy Hook Elementary and the Boston Marathon bombing were both done by mentally unstable people and in the second those people were influenced by radical Islam. Actors were not used. 6. In the 1960s the United States invested a tremendous amount of resources to send a rocket to the moon with people on it. It was not filmed in studio. These are but a few of the things that seem to come up regularly here and if you can prove otherwise to any of these, please do. But know that in the end, the logic and the reality of these events will win out.
There is a reason why all of these events are fake/planned/staged. You just don't want to hear it. That's your problem. Just be careful not to suffocate with your head buried so deep in the sand.
