    Even the ones I wished he WOULDN'T keep! Of course no president in history has kept ALL their promises (only a fool would believe such a thing) and that is certainly not my claim. But he has kept many more than I anticipated.

    im sure once you exclude the ones he couldnt because of obstuctionism it's a decent amount. certainly seems that way on politifact

    I do believe the OP set this post up to be meant as a joke, for we all know that breaking promises is obama's baliwick.

    Any supporter of obama would be embarrassed to have to read of the many broken promises by this joke-in-chief. But just
    for the shiites and giggles of it all, I thought some of you might be amused by reading six pages of his broken promises. ENJOY!

    This isnt quick sand, this is real people being killed on all sides, with no hope of it getting better while we are there. Obama is warmonger just like Bush was.

    No its quicksand, the quicker you pull out the greater the resulting catastrophe on all sides as guerrillas are encouraged and the local government tries to cope without western support.

    I will give him that he has kept a large number of promises, but most of the promises he has kept are fluff. He has not done anything significant to protect the environment. He's going to approve the Keystone pipeline. He has not pulled us out of Iraq, the end of the war there is merely rhetoric. We still have boots on the ground fighting insurgents, we just stopped calling them combat operations. We're still in Afghanistan (and will be until 2024 at the earliest) and will leave it worse off than it was when we came in.

    He has callously increased Bush's number of drone strikes, and seems to not care that for every one terrorist he kills, he kills 50 innocent civilians.

    GITMO is still open and some reports suggest the use of torture has increased.
