I Blame The Airlines For The 9/11 Attacks, The Wars and Our Economic Mess!

I don't understand why nobody seems to recognize that it was actually the fault of the airlines for the 9/11 attacks! If they had secured the cockpit areas to where nobody INCLUDING the stewardesses could enter, the 9/11 attacks would have never happened. And why would they want to do that? Well, terrorist attacks and hijackings are nothing new. All they needed to use was a little creativity and imagination to realize that something bad was bound to happen if they didn't do that. But I guess they just assumed that anybody wanting to hijack an airplane were only interested in ransom - not in doing something far more sinister. And it probably would have cost them a little extra to put these minor changes into effect. This probably includes the cost of impenetrable doors that nobody can kick in. But isn't their job to cut costs for the sake of investors? If they don't do that they could lose their jobs! This narrow, selfish way of thinking is the reason why thousands of people are dead, we're in a huge economic mess and the image of the United States is tarnished.
