The right is aggrieved because they feel like they are being unfairly targeted, and think Trump is being unfairly targeted, but what's the left's excuse? They are in charge, have all the power, and run all the institutions, so someone like the former head of both the CIA and NSA can flippantly suggest that Trump be executed...

People should cool down obviously, but it's people on both sides.

 

Why would any true American vote for someone whose stated goal was to hurt other law biding Americans?
I would consider retrbution a partisan abuse of authority.

 

Treason if he sold nuclear secrets to one of our rivals/enemies, in theory. Not saying he did. Most likely those nuclear docs were just sitting there for him to impress his guests. For Garland, I would guess that anybody who suggests execution without something involving a dead body would have to be talking about treason.

I'm going to just go ahead and call it right now, but I think those "nuclear" documents are another fake story. It was based on anonymous sources (again) in the Washington Post. It may take a while to get the truth of it, but I think that's what we'll eventually find out. Or at least that's my prediction.

Whataboutisms are legitimate tactics of debate; when it's related to the discussion. Asking me a question which I can't answer without any context is merely a deflection.

It isn't the government's job to make this a better country. It's the government's job to operate within the boundaries of the Constitution and represent the will of the people, in accordance with the law of the land.
