    You seem to be referring to crony-Capitalism, which isn't what Corporatism really is.

    This article below refers to how the word Corporatism has different meanings.

    Encyclopedia Britannica seems to give the correct definition of it.

    Well, generally speaking that's how it'd play out if the rules/regulations are even for everyone. I agree, right now there's way too much regulating small businesses, and not enough against the big fries. I'm not talking about over regulation. If we view society as water, then government is a dam. We don't want to clog up the water, but we want to assure the water flows smoothly and gently. And to ride out the storms when we can.

    Since we both have our own connections to asian-type societies, I think you can kind of see where I borrow from their philosophy a bit. The power to influence events isn't radical or even out of the ordinary for humans. It's just out of the ordinary for our live and let live Western society. Only I think now that 'live and let live' has been disastrous for us and with unintended consequences.

    The Chinese have a saying;

    "You do not use good iron to make nails, or good men to make Soldiers."

    Perhaps a Man like Trump is needed right now, a Businessman, we don't need a theorist President, Hillary is a method actor, she subscribes to the doing the same things over and over and expecting different results each time.

    Define Insanity; thy name is Hillary.
