I have a feeling that you are willing to sacrifice even more than Jesus did

Question: if you were given the opportunity to "save all humankind" by being tortured ever worse than Jesus allegedly was, would you take it?

What if you were given the opportunity to be tortured 10 TIMES more than Jesus allegedly was....but for only 1/10th the benefit (i.e. to only save 1/10th of humanity)....would you take that opportunity? I bet you WOULD, especially if your FAMILY was included in that 1/10th of humanity! So if you were given that opportunity, your sacrifice could be argued to be 10 multiplied by 10 (which is 100) TIMES as much of, shall we say, "effective sacrifice" (pain vs. reward), as Jesus' alleged sacrifice on the cross was.

You might say "no I would not", and that's understandable. But if you say "yes I would", then it can be argued that you are willing to be around 100 times or so more caring towards humanity than even Jesus allegedly was. So I'm not sure his alleged sacrifice is really all that big of a deal to you, if you yourself are willing to sacrifice roughly 100 "times" more than Jesus did. You probably have never realized that you are, given the opportunity, likely 100 times more caring than Jesus' alleged sacrifice, have you?

Me, yes, I'd make that sacrifice, so of course I don't see Jesus' sacrifice as all that impressive compared to me....I just haven't been given the OPPORTUNITY that Jesus allegedly had, that's all. Nothing more. So I don't see Jesus as more caring than me.

    Would YOU?
