I was reading a post on X a short time before making this thread. It was a post of a leftist in post-election meltdown mode, hoping that Biden nullifies the election results. This makes sense. After all, this person supposedly voted for Kamala Harris, who did not earn a single vote in the Democrat Party's presidential primaries, which is antithetical to any basic notion of the universal tenets of democracy: you don't override the voters, especially with the decades-long expectation that their choice will be who the nominee is. In 2024, the Democrat Party held a primary, the American people of the Democrat Party chose Joe Biden, yet Kamala Harris was the nominee, even though those voters did not choose her to represent their party in the presidential election. In other words, those voters, who waited in lines, who may have taken off of work, who were those same poor voters who could barely make it to the polls--and may even had to show ID, for goodness sakes!--had their voices silenced and their time wasted. What was the point in them waiting in lines to vote for Biden? They had a decades-long expectation that the majority of them choose who the nominee is going to be. Thankfully, many American patriots voted for Trump, who was actually chosen by the American people and thus rewarded the party that actually values democracy--republicanism, specifically, but I digress--with the presidency for their nominee. Who here helped save democracy by voting for Trump or helped attack it by voting for Harris?
The left is the threat to democracy. We beat them though, and the meltdowns are the best comedy I've watched in awhile.
I voted for Trump and I'm proud of it. I think the only reason why many people would vote for Harris is because of the 8 years of hatred generated by the DNC and MSM for Trump, I mean, what else do they have? Of the few Harris supporters I've talked to, when I ask why they're voting for her their answer was because she's not Trump. They never mentioned a policy position or serious accomplishment, just their hatred for Trump. I also think a few folks on this board fall into that category.
This is not new. When Trump won the first time, there were people who conspired to lean on electors for Trump they thought they could scare into not supporting him. Just internet blowhards really, but that there were people calling for it was probably why January 6 happened because then the whacky right thought it was okay for them to go after not affirming the EC results.
