So, I just bought my license. 400$+! That is for the first time, but still, I learned my Agriculture license plate costs more then the standard, but besides that, 400$+!

I do not understand, does it cost so much to do paper work and make the license plate? I do not understand how a piece of metal with numbers and colors can cost this much.

It's not about metal and numbers. It's a tax. Another way the state attempts to finance itself.

I agree 100%. But it is merely just a tax (as other posters have stated).

A portion goes to education. What did you pay $400 dollars for?

if you think that's expensive, get caught w/o it. :omfg:

government has no real problem with early release of murders and child molesters and people that rape their neighbor's horse, but they would hang tax evaders w/o trial if they thought they could get away with it.

my county in FL hiked up the registration fees as well and it was a significant hike. Some of the fees increased by over 100%

but, our school administrators work in very cushy offices with marble tile, marble sills and mahogany desks

    bless their little hearts
