Just continue on down your path to ordering the murder of 3,000 innocent people in a couple buildings. You will totally think it's justified, but a few years later, friends of those people will put a bullet in your head while you sit in your bedroom.

Though you are likely right, that's impossible to know. It's not like CNN can just walk into ISIS strong holds and ask "Hey, who is on their team, and who is oppressed?".

Honestly, bombing those ISIS cities would probably put a lot of people out of their misery. However I don't support that tactic. It'll breed more recruits that are foreign based. This needs to be a global crackdown, boots on the ground, A10 BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTS, and no mercy. Invade the invaders.

Interesting we'd have lost WWII if we'd fought by those standards.

We aren't even willing to bomb their headquarters cause we are so chicken-(*)(*)(*)(*) terrified of collateral damage. That's not to say we need to go to the other extreme and wipe out everything...as usual, the best course is somewhere in the middle. At the end of it all having as much infrastructure standing is important if those displaced are able to return to something. Otherwise we'll be dealing with even more refugees we don't want.

Can you name a single battle in the last year in which the Syrians or Iraqis have lost to ISIS? Because I can name a dozen where they have beaten ISIS and taken territory from them.

What does that say about ISIS that they can't beat 3rd world armies but yet they are supposedly this giant threat that we need to adopt fascism to defeat?

You're right. They are going to defeat ISIS and there will be no more attacks. Stop getting all whiney.

Who said anything about "no more attacks"? Significant support and propaganda resources for attacks will be eliminated.

I don't know of anything anyone has suggested that will result in "no more attacks".

If you defeat someone, they can't attack you. But you're right. Them Iraqis and Syrians are going to eliminate the enemy and we have nothing to worry about. If the enemy is defeated, all is good. Cite Germany and Japan. Glad we got this cleared up.

When will the Lefties come to the realization that "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH?" ...Is it even conceivable to think that the "pajama boy" mentality will ever get to a point of wanting to fight back? ...And realize collateral damage sometimes is unavoidable? As long as we have very weak leadership the enemy will continue to spit in our face.

Their "Headquarters" doesn't even house the leaders of their government. Those guys travel constantly. You'd be bombing a building for no real purpose.

The headquarters by definition is the operational center through which war is organized and planned. Merely killing people actually has less to do with it than severely disrupting their capacity to do such. To say nothing of the blow to their morale.

If it was an empty building you'd have a point. Logic says it is full of the operational assets needed to run an army spread out over an area the size of the U.K. and run propaganda and recruiting tools online.

But they don't use it as their actual headquarters. They understand how vulnerable they are to airstrikes, so their senior leadership constantly moves.

Funny, you deplore ISIS for murdering innocent people while supporting murdering innocent people.

There is no real difference between the intolerant hateful attitudes of American right-wingers and Muslim right-wingers in ISIS. They just differ on who should be the target of their hatred.

Pre-war... Raqqa is a bombed out city run by theocrats that murder people in the streets for wearing the wrong shirt. Every innocent person in that city is a corpse by this point.

Raqqa has been controlled by the IS for nearly 1/2 a decade now. Anyone opposed to the IS has either resisted and been killed or fled. Many people ideologically ALIGNED with the IS has been killed or fled because of their 0 tolerance enforcement policies of Sharia. That's not an opinion, it's a fact drawn from logical deduction. Making Raqqa disappear might kill civilians but none of them would be innocents.
