Pregnancy and child birth may be unpleasant at times, even painful...but it is nothing close to Hell. and if you felt that way, why didn't you abort or recommend aborting.
And you would know that how? I chose to endure pregnancy/childbirth, my choice, remember? Every woman should have a choice, and her choice should never be demeaned by others who have no idea what she is going through.
Oh really? I am from a large family, have a large social network, worked in hospitals on an OB ward...and I only know of a very few (2) who view their pregnancy/childbirth experience as 'hell'. Painful at times, uncomfortable at the end, yes...but not a 'hell'. The overwhelming majority of mothers feel that whatever discomfort they underwent was more then offset by the 'heaven' of their baby.
Well there are a lot of women, as evidenced by the ones posting here, who want to vehemently support the premeditated homicide of children in utero. So while you are not in a miniscule minority, you are in a dubious crowd.
Before the 19th century, most US states had no specific abortion laws. Women were able to end a pregnancy prior to viability ....
I am sorry if I cause you any vexation. I never contended that abortion is a religious topic, however opposition to abortion has its roots mostly in religion.
You claim a contradiction but fail to point it out ? Unsupported claims are little better than false claims. In this case it is both.
WOW, it is right there in the quote from your prior post. It isn't a religious topic yet you beleive most base their opinion on religion?
You know that every pregnancy can be uncomfortable and even painful but not HELL? How much experience with hell have you had? How are you sure that your experience with pregnancy is every woman's experience?
Good point, but why stop the legality at birth? I think mothers should be able to do what they want with their own child until around age 2.
It was Prom that stated that not me. Note the term "most". If one claims that most folks base their opinion on religion this statement means that some base their opinion on other things. A person stating something "isnt" a religious topic means that this is one persons view. "Abortion should not be a religious topic" Stating that many peoples views on abortion is on the basis of Religion is not a contractiction of the claim that "Abortion should not be a religious topic" It just means that in his opinion religious folks are misguided.
Are your language skills really that pathetic? Even elementary school children can discern the difference that eludes you. In a religion / religious topic the religion is discussed. In an abortion topic abortion is. Clear so far? When talking about opposition to abortion one is still talking about abortion not religion even if one is inspired by religion. Now if one does not know what one is talking about it can be very confusing, much like this is for you.
