In the last throws of this debate, NOM; the national organization "for" marriage (and along with ADF, pretty much the only players left in the game) has gotten itself into all kinds of thought pretzels. http://www.nomblog.com/39572/ They're arguing that even if a same-sex couple is married they're not really married because marriage is what they say it is, so there. But that's not really my point. My bone of contention is this: If this money-grabbing organization is really open to logical debate and "thoroughness", then why haven't they allowed anybody to post a comment on their web-blog since the fall of DOMA Section 3 in 2013?
One thing is an obvious point....they've been LOSING for almost a year now. All the court decisions are going against them and the latest national poll showed 52% of Americans now support marriage equality. Like a lot of Rightwing Media, they want an "Echo Chamber" where opposing views are never heard ...especially when they are based on facts that NOM can't dispute.
