Well right off the bat NBC is owned by COMCAST a publicly traded company on the capitalist stock market.

Oh gee, I wasn't aware that liberals aren't capitalist. Must be because in spite of all their bluster they like everyone else enjoy the lifestyle capitalism provides. Ever go to a protest and watch who drives away in their BMWs and Audis when it's over?

 

The top ten percent wealthiest of our citizens own 84% of all stocks traded on our public stock markets.

 

Democrats are the elites and the burger flippers.

Republicans are the middle class and upper-middle class.

 

It is not surprising that liberals and D's will complain about everything Trump does. It is as abundantly clear as the sun rises in the morning that Trump can do no right in their eyes given that he has an R in front of his name.

However, it does not necessarily follow that "thousands of Americans would be infected" were a D in the WH, given that currently there are only 2 countries in the world right now where thousands are infected (China and South Korea). That number will obviously change in the near future. Given the amount of international travel and long incubation period, I find it unlikely we will not see it spread in the coming weeks in the US. However, the future is uncertain - just as whatever a given D presidency would have done under the same circumstances is uncertain.

 

The odds of getting the Corona virus in the USA at present is about 1 in 5.2 million. The odds of dying from it at present is zero out 330 million. Better odds than living in Chicago.

 

The premature travel ban, at great loss to businesses, would not have even been necessary at that moment if we had competent people in the Trump administration. And leaders that actually knew how to handle a crisis. But we don't!

A travel ban and quarantining people coming out of an infected area is the most effective way to stop the spread of the virus. That is most likely why we have so few cases in the US.

Having failed at impeachment, Democrats breathlessly hoped for millions of Americans to die after contracting coronavirus. Failing that, Democrats sent Rosenstein's sister out from her cave at the CDC daily to spook the markets. The question of how much protective gear should sit rotting in inventory awaiting a pandemic that may never come is one for the geniuses who fought to fly infections in from China en masse, support open borders to attract infections to walk in, and promote squalor among homeless in their streets, incubating diseases that Republicans defeated decades ago.

 

We’d all be dead if a dem was in the Oval Office.

 

Yep. Not PC to protect our people from foreign born diseases. Seems Trump was right about the risk of putting all of our manufacturing jobs in a ChiCom basket. He waved his magic wand and they started coming back. Doing business in areas where half the people interact with the rest of the world and the other half eat bugs for dinner is risky.

Oh yeah.... I heard Rush the other day promoting the new conspiracy theory. That the Corona virus is a world-wide conspiracy created by Democrats to get at Trump. It makes sense in the minds of Trump loyalists because they know that confronting Trump with any crisis will expose how lousy he is at managing crisis.

The only thing that "spooks" the markets is lack of information. And knowing that the guy in charge is a pathological liar means that they can't believe anything he says.... Even if he were telling the truth. Which is an extremely rare occurrence.
