Ron Paul would do away with major federal departments and military spending. This would effect very powerful people in our country. Do you think he would survive it? Who do you want as vice president under a Ron Paul admin?
He would be alone, no rebulican or democrat would get near him. Plus, he is near 80+ years old and will soon be feeble minded like regan, and his aids will make the decisions for him like Bush. Likke the Arab spring, change for democracy does not come easy, nor will it come wihout some sacrifice. And in the USA the lazy and complacent will not allow change to come easy when they are on top.
The question is moot since Paul has no chance of winning the Republican nomination. It'll go to either Gingrich or Romney.
