If the bitcoin is banned in Russia, why is RT promoting bitcoin on daily bases?

    So, I was watching RT today and the channel is promoting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on daily bases. If RT is sponsored by Russia, then why RT is promoting bitcoin which is banned in Russia?

    Crypto-currency is, potentially, a significant challenge to American economic power. RT enjoys to put forth any views of reality that presuppose a weakening America. That's what it's reader-base likes to read.

    As to the significance of the danger posed by Crypto-currency, it is significant. The pre-eminence of the American dollar is in large part due to political fractures in other countries leading to unstable monetary policy. Africa, in particular, has a lot to gain from crypto-currency.
