    Most likely not Bushs fault by now unles the sub prime thing explodes again. It takes about Four years for economic changes to work their way through.

    Bush was never completely at fault. He was unfortunately the needle that broke the camels back. You need to spread the blame over the course of the past 30 years.

    Reagan's tenure would be the place to start.............

    The bankers were forced (by the government) to give subpar loans. Also, fannie mae and freddie mac the two biggest problems were created by the federal government. OH WAIT. The government is causing our problems?! WHAT?! Republicans AND democrats and every political spectrum are to blame? How weird. Ron Paul 2012.
