I have loved the debut DRI album since I was a kid. I didn’t get to see them live or Motörhead but I caught shows from the last two Slayer tours.

I see folks like you write stuff like this, and I'd just ask, in what way? Give an example, not just the rhetoric. I can, Democrats want to consume ballots, not voters votes. A true threat to democracy that we're seeing play out all around the Blue western states as we speak. Endless government spending and give aways to buy votes causing crippling inflation to punish the citizens. Endless abuse of executive authority to simply sidestep the legislative process making Joe the effective dictator that he is.

See, I can actually provide multiple examples of how democrats are threatening democracy, and the fabric of our nation. Can you? Do try to be specific then....

Sorry but those aren't examples, unless you mean that every politician is a threat to democracy.

 

Petty mockery against Trump doesn't go to the point that his administration dealt swiftly and effectively with the pandemic, all along the way, in spite of the lefts perpetual criticisms. So devise whatever caricature you imagine. We aren't all fooled by juvenile leftist propaganda. From the very beginning when Trump quarantined travelers from China, and the left accused it of being a political diversion (from the lefts attempted Russian hoax) without regard for the unnecessary burden that Trumps decision placed on the travelers. To the end when leftists swore that they wouldn't take the Trump vaccine. Everything between those two points was of the same spirit and mentality from the left. I would say shame on them. But that character trait isn't in their make up any more. When Trump said that Democrats are vicious and nasty, he was markedly accurate.

 

Now you are whining about what our chosen representatives select as policy decisions. But, those are the people WE CHOSE to represent us.

You need to remember that YOUR views (and my views) on policy are not necessarily the views of the nation as a whole. And, there are good reasons for that. For example, a significant minority are rural, and thus their views can be decidedly worse for the majority who are urban.


But, the largest problem is one you are DODGING: You can not propose a better system.

Tearing down the system America has when you don't have an alternative is seriously damaging.

What is your alternative to representative democracy???

And when it really comes down to it, how does your rhetoric support those urban folks you claim to be representing? High density urban customers of energy are the most likely to be disrupted by the policies of this president.

Like I said, while the Trump administration was addressing the virus, the left was faulting him the entire way. So Trump addressed the virus, and the left faulted Trump. Leftists can't see beyond their own accusations. In fact, I can't think of a single thing the Trump admin did or set out to do for America that the left didn't fault.
