We all know Trump loves dictators. Especially Putin. Hes a massive Putin Arse kisser.

So, with that in mind, and all Trumps worshippers.

If Trump wins, would you like to see him switch support from Ukraine to Russia?

Interesting question. He is already bankrolled by Russia. Looking forward to the results.

The trump haters are desperate enough to keep after trump, no matter what, but not willing to defend brandon or suggest an alternative to brandon.

See, Ukraine is irrelevant until we determine who the next president will be.

That's one of the key reasons people shouldn't vote for him!

He won't win so there is no reason to waste time speculating what he would do.

Not just NO! but HELL NO!

We can argue about how the Ukrainian War might be a money pit, but the fact remains is that Putin is a Stalin want to be. He doesn't deserve any support from decent people and nations.

It depends on the Ukrainians. If Putin and successive Putins seek to recreate the old USSR, they will do it.
Rather gating on Trump you should give him credit for lowering oil prices making war economically more expensive for Russia. High oil and gas prices are funding Putin's ambitions.
The wild card is as Russia's baby boomers die off out of power, will Russian attitudes change like I expect things to change here?

if anyone exploits weakness, it's Russia.

There's no need to switch support to Russia, but considering that we don't need Ukraine for anything, why are spending multi-billions and more billions on it? I can't think of one thing we need to import from Ukraine and on top of that we never have.

I've said for over two years that eventually Russia will rule over all of Ukraine east of the Dnieper River. With the passing of every month, we see that coming closer to happening... and it is very likely to be true no matter who the president is.

It takes a lot more than freshly-printed dollars provided in seemingly endless quantities by our central bank to overcome the enormous logistics and other advantages that Russia has had from day-one. You don't need a Ph.D. in Economics to figure that out, but, as it turns out, guess who has one?! :omg:

No poll choice represents my views. Why do we have to choose one or the other? We should end sending money to all of them.

Glad to see the right showing exactly what they think of Americas word and how other nations should expect us to honor our agreements going forward.

If we were not going to protect Ukraine to some extent then we shouldn’t have negotiated the removal of their nuclear deterrent.

First, whatever we are spending to aid Ukraine is not significant to our national budget. A lot of that aid is paid for, a lot of it equipment we had sitting in storage and were going to scrap anyway. It's not a matter of just throwing money into a pit.

Second, it is incredibly narrow-minded and short-sighted to think only about money being spent today. Europe is our largest trade partner and is not only directly threatened by a belligerent, revanchist Russia, but indirectly threatened and affected by a destabilized or utterly destroyed Ukraine sending millions of refugees their way. We can't afford to be selfish and isolationist to that extent, nor can we hope for our alliances and credibility on the world stage to be upheld if we are. There is nothing Russia would love more than to see us abandon Ukraine.

We never had any agreement to protect Ukraine when it became a separate country, and as you know it is not part of NATO.

Did the United States of America negotiate between Russia and Ukraine for Ukraine to remove their nuclear arsenal? Yes, or no?

I live in Russia and I can say that Americans have a biased and incorrect idea of Russia. But I can't prove it because they don't believe me.

Recently, I came across the false idea of Americans that there are empty shops in Russia, there are no products or any other goods. But I was able to convince the forum members by simply photographing shops in Russia that are full of products, appliances, clothes and everything else that is needed.

But how can I convince you that there is democracy in Russia? I can't take a snapshot of freedom!

I suppose it’s hard to believe when there are occurrences such as anti Putin journalists being poisoned and people speaking against Putin “falling out of windows”.

But don't you find it hard to believe that there is democracy in the United States when someone tried to shoot a presidential candidate?
Or if journalists expressing a different point of view like Tucker Carlson are fired from TV?
Or if the head of the IMF is accused of rape, and the victim suddenly remembered it two decades later?

    Is it different?..

In the US, it wasn’t the government doing the assassinating.
No one has a job for life, unlike the old USSR.
So? That is freedom isn’t it? That someone should be accountable for a crime? Are you implying that the victim is lying?
