An even worse year than this year was 2016.

Did you and your ilk call it, "Obama's America"?

Hell, he and his mooch even lived there!:roflol:

Are you for real or just blind?

    The OP listed 4,338 shootings in 2016. 3,549 in 2017. 2,914 in 2018. And 2,703 in 2019. (That's called, "Getting Better".)

Then when the liberal/progressive/socialist "Woke Crowd" came into play, the problem got worse. Same with everywhere else where the libs are in charge.

    And you blame Trump? :roflol::roflol::roflol:

your ilk? What is your ilk?

Obama didn't run on a platform of stopping crime in Chicago.

US President Donald Trump has repeatedly vowed to intervene in Chicago, where local law enforcement have struggled with the city's intractable problem with violence.

"Crime and killings in Chicago have reached such epidemic proportions that I am sending in Federal help," he tweeted on Friday.

I guess it's just another of his failures. So many, who can keep track?

[IMG]This chart was in the OP.
So, after 4 yrs of promising to stop crime in Chicago. It's almost the same as it was in 2016.
    What a failure.

I am trumplike. Even though I voted against him.
I did not ignore the trumpVirus though. He did.
And it cost him a 2nd term.

And I didn't ignore it. I knew he had no power to clean up Chicago. Who really thinks any president has power to go with troops into a city?

You know what? If you think Trump's policies are the reasons behind the shootings, then you should contact the lawyers for the shooters and see if they're going to use that as a defense.

You hate Trump as much as anyone, how many people have you shot? I'm guessing you haven't shot anyone. So why would Trump's policies cause people who most likely have no interest in politics to shoot people, yet the people who do have an interest in his policies haven't? Are you simply a better person than the shooters? Maybe you graduated from school, didn't join a gang, have a job and a family and so on. Could it be you came from a 2 parent family and your father came home every night which meant you were raised well? In the end, regardless of what anyone says, in you mind your life matters and you don't want to ruin it with a murder conviction.

Trump is damned by the left if he does, and he's damned by the left if he doesn't.

Don't want to make it mandatory that pensioners stay in Chicago, I just think a safer city might not might encourage them to stay.

Encouragement of being lawless? The left, from Mooch, to Holder, to Waters, and points beyond have encouraged violence. How many celebs pushed for violence? Let me see, Judd, Madonna, Griffin, de Niro, Depp, and lots more. And then there were the riots, looting, arson and assaults. Who from the left condemned them in a serious manner or advocated for stopping it?

In order to get things done he has to work with people who want to get things done. If the people he has to work with, democrats, don't want to do anything and actually resist Trump, then nothing gets done. Trump is only one person, how many democrats are in congress?

The police are putting their blinders on as soon as they leave the briefing room. They want to get through their shift doing as little as possible, and certainly not doing anything proactive. The police have learned that the best thing for them to do is to respond to crimes, not prevent them.

I'd be willing to go clean up the streets for a reasonable salary.

I bet I could get me and a few hundred of my friends, and if you turned us loose, we'd clean up that city in a few months.

    But, that's mean and stuff.

They rap about it. Being killed at 17 because your neighbor stole someone else's bicycle is honorable in Chicago.
