Try again, I am in Chicago. In another alleged bastion of strength of the leftness. Where Liberalism is shown to be a mental disorder. Yet not even here. Have they came up with such a stupid idea, like these wet behind the ears, lefties of the West Coast.

Exactly......and calling prison inmates, students just doesn't come off as a good idea.

In Illinois they tried going with the term Residents. The prison populations wouldn't even accept that one. Fought it saying a resident would denote that they have a choice being there. Illinois even issued out ID cards that said Resident. The Prison population had jail attorneys take that one on and the state lost. So they went back to the term. Inmate.

It devalues the victims of these crimes by insinuating no crime or offense was done. Words do mean something. Offenders of the law is what they are. If you can't see that then you don't see outrage done to the victims.

Liberals tend to worship criminals and diss the victims. It's a sick trend that leads to a bad direction.

At this point they have not been convicted of a crime. Now if they already convicted I would agree. So you are right about words mattering.
