Hi i am a new member on this forum and i have a question: Ok so I'm sorry about the weird title, I didn't know how to articulate the idea. Now if our constitution says that our government cannot own, or run a business, something like insurance is a business how is the government doing anything other than applying certain regulations to make it safe for it's citizens anything but illegal or unconstitutional. Now I want to get this out there, I am not a Republican, nor a Democrat. I believe that following political parties around and believing what the group believes purely because its what your elegance believes in defeats the purpose of how our government was set up to be like. George Washington said Political parties would be the downfall of our nation. So I'm not hating on Obama because he is black, or because he is a democrat. It may be true that he is doing this to gain favor with the financially less inclined, because he believes it is best for our country, or both. I do not care I just cannot see how this is legal or constitutional. I know it was sneakily fit in as a tax, but that still shouldn't make it legal, if the principle of anything passed by the government is unconstitutional, it should be able to be stricken down regardless of its official title. It was stricken down as a bill, it should not be allowed as anything else right? I am trying to look at this with one bias, the bias that I am an American Citizen and I want what is best for the people of my country while following our constitution.
