Well it took a few days while the media ignored this but they have finally come up with their spin. It's pretty pathetic and strains credulity but here it is.

"An FBI agent's text message that referred to “an insurance policy” and has been cited as evidence of bias against President Trump reportedly alluded to the investigation into Russia’s election interference and any potential ties between Trump's campaign and Moscow.

The Wall Street Journal, citing individuals familiar Peter Strzok’s message, said the agent did not mean to indicate that there was a plan to damage Trump. Strzok’s message, instead, was intended to mean that Trump could win the election, and therefore the probe “couldn't afford to take a more measured approach,” the newspaper said."

If this is the case, guy did a miserable job of making the Trump/Russia connections MORE public before the election... However, the deplorables would have continued to ignore this connection even if Putin had actively campaigned for Trump...

What group is Trump paying million$ to for conducting this opposition research on the FBI? Were Strzoks communications intercepted by Trumps SS? McCabe lawyered up for his appearance before committee ... why would he do that? Why was James Baker selected to accompany him? These corrupt agents that liberals are hoping will grant them deliverance from Trumps presidency have zero credibility, and zero chance of success. Might be time to focus on a party platform, so's not to be as embarrassed in 2018, as in 2016.

I would love for Trump to start a new FBI and do secret surveillance on the left, what goes around comes around.

So you agree that the context of Strzok's text has been intentionally mis-characterized by the corrupt GOP congress, RW profiteering pundits, FAUX News & online trolls to undermine the FBI and subvert the rule of law, good for you buddy!

Context isn't a defensive strategy that's going to work. At the very least, use of gov't phones, and gov't offices, for purposes of political activism, is a crime. Whether you think, or Strzok / McCabe claim they set aside their bias while investigating, is irrelevant. They are unfit for office due to their criminal abuse of their offices. The texts, and "context" of the meeting between the dpty. director, and his subordinates, in an official agency setting is inexcusable. Fail.

So you agree that Strzok's text has been blown/distorted way out of context. Context is key to critical thinking & in this case, the rule of law.

Seems like today might be a good day for liberals to gather and scream at the sky. I doubt James Baker urged McCabe to invoke the "context" defense yesterday in front of investigators. :roflol: Baker should have urged McCabe to invoke the 5th before he perjured himself before congress instead. None of these people seem particularly bright, and neither do pundits who prattle on about "context".

So that's a "Hell Yeah" then that Strzok's text has been intentionally & grossly mis-characterized?

Fortunately, McCabe wasn't there to provide a "defense"..... Just answer a few questions and outwit the "Axis of Idiots" on the right... Sideshow!!.... Nobody of consequence paying any attention.....Bob Mueller continues to compile evidence and indictments...

That was the dumbest excuse for strzok that any liberal has come up with yet

What strzok was saying is if hillary wins no problem.

Just let trump fade away quietely

But if he wins strzok and his coconspirators will have take direct action against him

You seem to support his text being mischaracterized, why? Do you support fake news?

Why was Baker there? Seems like McCabe needed to pool his cabals mental resources. Things appear to have gone beautifully, as evidenced by the issuance of a fresh round of subpoenas, and the commitees recommendation to FBI director Wray that McCabe be removed. :roflol:

Expressing one's opinion of a political candidate and speculating about the outcome of having a venal, corrupt schmuck with no experience in politics in a leadership is not criminal abuse.

You are making broad claims that you have no evidence to support.

Their spin sounds like pathetic and meaningless gibberish that it is.

    - if the FBI had evidence of Russia's election meddling, no measured approach could have or would have been contemplated in the first place.

    - Russia's probe is not per se "insurance policy" against Trump's win, this whole collusion brouhaha was "insurance policy" to subvert the election result if Trump wins and the spin actually confirms this.
