Can You Spot The Difference Between These Two Insurrection Photos?

    upload_2021-10-18_15-48-0.png

    upload_2021-10-18_15-48-16.png

Which Democrat is going to call for an 10/14 investigation and which judge is going to put those in the bottom photo in jail?

"These climate activists staged a sit-in within the Interior Department, with demonstrators who were left outside struggling with law enforcement officers as they reportedly tried to force their way in, shouting “Go inside! Go inside!” The ordeal resulted in a number of injuries, according to multiple sources.

“Multiple injuries were sustained by security personnel, and one officer has been transported to a nearby hospital. Medics representing both the Department and the protesters were present,” Interior Department spokeswoman Melissa Schwartz said in a statement. “It is also our obligation to keep everyone safe. We will continue to do everything we can to de-escalate the situation while honoring first amendment rights.”...

    ...
The Washington Post’s little write-up characterized it as “clashes,” with the paper’s anodyne tweet saying “activists ‘occupy’ Interior Department” with some of them “entering the building and holding a sit-in,” the same blasé word The Hill used. Something tells me CNN and MSNBC won’t be giving this forceful entry quite the same wall-to-wall coverage as the Jan 6. riot, if they cover it at all.

That’s because when Democrats and the media pontificate about political violence and “attacks on our democracy,” they aren’t talking about all political violence or all attacks on our government. They’re only talking about the ones they can use to smear Republicans and boost their narrative...

    ...
We know why, which brings us back to the two pictures. There is no difference between them. The photos both depict young women, revved up about perceived political injustice, taking things a step too far in going after those they decided to hold responsible.

The only disparity is how they’ll be treated. One was shot, while the other walked away. One was blasted by the press, and one won’t ever make the news. The first led to the media complex berating an entire side of the political aisle for a violent insurrection and to Big Tech censoring swaths of dissidents for deadly misinformation, while the second will just be one of the nameless activists who hosted a sit-in barely worth mentioning.

Despite the media’s disparate treatment, the facts show that the most recent “insurrection” mirrors the January one. Which Democrat is going to call for an Oct. 14 Commission?"

False each one happened, try again

Did you support the efforts of the Clinton Campaign, the DNC and Obama administration to first influence the outcome of the election and then overturn the results with their collusion in creating the false Russia narrative, treating it as a credible claim in order to get FISA warrants and start an investigation and then leak the known false story to the Press so they would print it and the MSM would then hype?

    False premises:
    1. the Clinton Campaign, the DNC and Obama administration to first influence the outcome of the election and then overturn the results
    - none of those organizations tried to overturn the results of the 2016 election; none of them tried to influence the outcome of the election with the things you mention below (the story didn’t leak before the election so it couldn’t have influenced the election)

    2. with their collusion in creating the false Russia collusion narrative, treating it as a credible claim
    - it was a credible thing worth investigating. The Russians DID interfere in the election to benefit trump; the trump campaign new about such help and welcomed the help; there were numerous interactions between the Russians and the campaign. It was reasonable to investigate whether there was collusion. It would have been negligent NOT to investigate.

    3. in order to get FISA warrants and start an investigation and then leak the known false story to the Press so they would print it and the MSM would then hype?
    - do we know where the leak came from? Anyway, the story came out WAY after the story about the investigation I to Clinton’s emails. If any investigation story helped a candidate, it was a story that helped trump and hurt Clinton.

If you want to ask me a question, don’t load it up with lies.

Trump sues Jan. 6 committee, National Archives in attempt to block handover of documents to Congress

"Former President Donald Trump on Monday filed a double-barreled lawsuit seeking to block any handover of documents the congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol has sought from the National Archives. The suit names both the committee and the archives, and argues that the panel’s subpoena for Trump White House documents is invalid and that the material should be protected by executive privilege."

What is he so scared of?? This might delay the process........but it suggests he really is afraid of something and has lots to hide.

Perhaps 1 is false ... 2 and 3 are not.

    2) Collusion is not a crime - and so it is not reasonable to start an investigation - never mind appoint a special council.
    3) The FISA warrent was based on lies .. and we know this now .. so ?????

    4) The justification for the investigation was not "collusion" - was 1)DNC hack 2) FB ads.. Trump had nothing to do with either and they knew this in the first few weeks of the investigation -- at which point it should have been shut down immediately.

Facebook documents show how the platform fueled rage ahead of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol

"Exchange Commission provide a detailed look at what Facebook knew about the growth of the Stop the Steal movement on the social media platform in the weeks before a pro-Trump mob overran the Capitol — and the anger that many Facebook employees felt at their company's failure to stop the Jan. 6 violence."

Ahead of Jan. 6, Willard hotel in downtown D.C. was a Trump team ‘command center’ for effort to deny Biden the presidency

    "
The attack on the Capitol by a pro-Trump mob drew the world’s attention to the quest to physically block Congress from affirming Joe Biden’s victory. But the activities at the Willard add to an emerging picture of a less visible effort, one mapped out in memos by conservative legal scholar John Eastman, that was pursued by some of Trump’s closest allies as they sought to implement what they claim was a legal strategy to reinstate Trump for a second term."

During the Jan. 6 riot, an attorney for Trump told Pence’s team that the vice president’s inaction caused the attack on the Capitol

"As Pence hid from a marauding mob, John Eastman wrote to the vice president’s chief counsel: “The ‘siege’ is because YOU and your boss did not do what was necessary to allow this to be aired in a public way so that the American people can see for themselves what happened,” referring to Trump’s claims of voter fraud. The email exchange, in which Pence’s counsel, Greg Jacob, blamed the siege on Eastman’s “bull----” legal advice, is among a host of new details in a Washington Post examination of Eastman’s actions around the events of Jan. 6."

Jan. 6 attack: The Post uncovers how FBI, other agencies failed to heed previously undisclosed warnings weeks before Capitol siege

Law enforcement officials received a cascade of alerts that people were planning to target the joint session of Congress in an attempt to stop the certification of Joe Biden’s victory, a Washington Post investigation found.

Yes they did and the indictments have started, it was their entire purpose with the Russia collusion hoax they perpetrated.

Russian did pitiful little in the election and it was done on their own and to both sides as opportunity arose.

This is about the false narrative of Trump and the campaign being Russian spies and hacks and colluding with them which was a phony made up narrative from the getgo.

Yes and the lawyer for the campaigned lied about it and one pled guilty to fabricating evidence to get the phony Carter Page FISA warrant.

So again I ask did you support the efforts of the Clinton Campaign, the DNC and Obama administration to first influence the outcome of the election and then overturn the results with their collusion in creating the false Russia collusion narrative, treating it as a credible claim in order to get FISA warrants and start an investigation and then leak the known false story to the Press so they would print it and the MSM would then hype?

Durham Probes Pentagon Computer Contractors in Anti-Trump Conspiracy

    By Paul Sperry, RealClearInvestigations
    October 7, 2021

Cybersecurity experts who held lucrative Pentagon and homeland security contracts and high-level security clearances are under investigation for potentially abusing their government privileges to aid a 2016 Clinton campaign plot to falsely link Donald Trump to Russia and trigger an FBI investigation of him and his campaign, according to several sources familiar with the work of Special Counsel John Durham.

Durham is investigating whether they were involved in a scheme to misuse sensitive, nonpublic Internet data, which they had access to through their government contracts, to dredge up derogatory information on Trump on behalf of the Clinton campaign in 2016 and again in 2017, sources say — political dirt that sent FBI investigators on a wild goose chase. Prosecutors are also investigating whether some of the data presented to the FBI was faked or forged.

Jan. 6 committee subpoenas top Trump allies involved with scheme to overturn election

"The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol issued subpoenas Monday for several key Trump administration officials and allies involved with the effort to overturn the 2020 election. Among those being asked to provide records and testimony is former national security adviser Michael Flynn, former senior Trump adviser Jason Miller and conservative lawyer John Eastman."

And one had thought that this kind of conduct existed only in under developed nations.... or power grabbing dictatorships. This whole scenario demonstrates how little respect many in this country have for true democracy. let alone appreciate what they have. How can anyone buy into the big Lies.from a narcissistic sociopath .......and still consider themselves rational?? (as they have bought into HIS delusion)

    More good news.....

Judge denies Trump emergency motion to shield records sought by Jan. 6 committee

"A federal judge on Monday shot down a last-ditch effort from former President Donald Trump to prevent the National Archives from releasing documents requested by the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. Trump filed a lawsuit last month to block the records, but the case is still ongoing. Some of the documents are expected to be turned over on Friday."

Title should be witch hunt until we find something that sticks, akin to the Russia probe.

@MiaBleu Thanks for the updates and keeping the forum abreast of what the Congressional Committee is up to. Now we just have to get the DOJ to expedite and enforce the process and expose the shenanigans, the funders and the one(s) who was behind it all.

How many "evil" liberals participated in that Red hat gang that attacked the capitol that day?? Ho w many "evil" liberals wanted to overturn the election.........like they do in despot countries ??

what happened that day is everything that should not happen in a democracy............but the trumpsters are just not prepared to let go of power...........and some still believe that Trtump is POTUS.

That is a danger to the country and its democracy.......as it is crossing the boundaries into authoritarianism. The Trumpsters' hatred of libs/ dems has become so vile.........it borders on severe prejudice.............with active threats of violence / injury.....

That can only destabilize the nation.

The worst thing that Trump has done.......is give his followers "permission" to be violent, angry, offensive........and destructive.........And he has done it by his own example of negative behavior.. Realty: He embodies the worst of the worst of the "ugly american"

Attacked the Capitol? They went in guns ablazing, right? They killed all the Capitol police and almost killed all the politicians in Congress. It was so close. Nancy and Chuck saved them all. Woohoo...

Way to exaggerate. See, I can do it too.

What they did that day..........did not do themselves any favors......... and as a rs ult have lost any credibility ...........

They showed the world a very ugly side of a specific population........ie The Trump cult.

This is NOT how a civilized nation behaves. Let alone one that has any respect for democracy. Being prepared to Lynch Pence if he did not do as they asked is about as low as any group can get. It is madness.......that is dangerous to a nation and its democracy.

Bit it seems that if violence and this kind of barbaric behavior is acceptable........... then we are talking about the very fabric of a nation. It's core values.

How much violence e is too much?? or is there any limit anymore ??

Let's ask Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, Baltimore, and St. Louis to start. How much violence is too much? Did we hear you screaming about that violence? Real violence where there was billions in property damage, people were injured and killed, and it is still going on today. Are you willing to speak up against that? If not, then your statements ring fraudulent. Your shock is simply political.

what you describe is a violence prone nation. That has been established. The topic is about one specific riot ..........which attempted to influence a national.......election. That is a whole different level.,,,,,,,and yes..........the violence on Jan 6 was political and that made it even more dangerous.....as if a population has no respect for election results.......... it is no better than a third world country..........

But yes.....violence is part of the american culture.......... and it has intensified in recent times.

Jan. 6 panel can gain access to Trump records, judge rules

The decision by U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan cleared the way for the release of government records requested by the congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Attorneys for the former president appealed the decision.
