Exactly. I did not say I trust and accept their numbers, I said their numbers biased as they might be are much closer to mine than to yours. The numbers differ but the ballpark is the same - between 1000 and 1400 people killed, among them between 650 and 800 were Hamas militants.

You must have neglected to mention all of the hamas rockets intentionally fired from the backyards of civilian homes in gaza for the sole purpose of eliciting a response and increasing civilian casualties, which is hamas' goal.
