Yup! Looks like they went after Iran's munitions factory.

    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/iran-reports-drone-attack-defense-facility-96744493

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates -- Drones attacked an Iranian defense factory in the central city of Isfahan overnight, the state-run IRNA news agency reported early Sunday.

It carried a Defense Ministry statement saying the attack occurred late Saturday and caused minor damage to a rooftop. The report said three drones were shot down by Iranian air defenses.

The ministry did not say who was suspected of carrying out the attack.

Separately, Iran’s state TV said a fire broke out at an oil refinery in an industrial zone near the northwestern city of Tabriz. It said the cause was not yet known, as it showed footage of firefighters trying to extinguish the blaze.

Iran and Israel have long been engaged in a shadow war that has included covert attacks on Iranian military and nuclear facilities.

Last year, Iran said an engineer was killed and another employee was wounded in an unexplained incident at the Parchin military and weapons development base east of the capital, Tehran. The ministry called it an accident, without providing further details.

Parchin is home to a military base where the International Atomic Energy Agency has said it suspected Iran conducted tests of explosive triggers that could be used in nuclear weapons.

In April 2021, Iran blamed Israel for an attack on its underground Natanz nuclear facility that damaged its centrifuges.

Israel has not claimed responsibility for the attack, but Israeli media widely reported that the country had orchestrated a devastating cyberattack that caused a blackout at the nuclear facility. Israeli officials rarely acknowledge operations carried out by the country’s secret military units or its Mossad intelligence agency.

In 2020, Iran blamed Israel for a sophisticated attack that killed its top nuclear scientist.

Iran has always insisted its nuclear program is for purely peaceful purposes. U.S. intelligence agencies, Western nations and the International Atomic Energy Agency have said Iran ran an organized nuclear weapons program until 2003.

The United Nations' top nuclear official, Rafael Mariano Grossi, recently warned that Iran has enough highly enriched uranium to build “several” nuclear weapons if it chooses.

Efforts to revive a 2015 agreement with world powers that placed limits on Iran's nuclear activities ground to a halt last year. Both the U.S. and Israel have vowed to prevent Iran from ever acquiring nuclear weapons, and neither has ruled out military action.

If I had to guess? Gonna say Israel for 100, Alex.

While it will never happen, I would love for Ukraine to give someone captured Iranian drones to use on Iran.

I would rather see captured American drones and other military weapons wreaking havoc in the US. Someone needs to ally themselves with home-grown American mass shooters in shopping malls, schools, and drive-bys. They've been getting nothing but criticism from both the government and the media. :angered:

I'm sure you were overjoyed on 9/11.

Would you love for Russia to give someone captured American or Australian (insert country here) weapons to use on that country? Why shouldn't Iran sell weapons to Russia when other countries are selling weapons to Ukraine?

:applause:This is pure, concentrated logic that most people will not understand although it ought to be perfectly obvious.

Because Russia is engaging in a war to take Ukranian territory and wipe Ukraine off the map. They have made that clear from the start even if they are unable to do it now. To that end Russians have raped, tortured & murdered civilians & destroyed Ukranian cities.

If you want to support Iran's right to help do that then go ahead.

No, I doubt that very much because your view is measured in black and white. You said that I was "overjoyed on 9/11" and that is simply not true. I felt the collective grief "on 9/11" but in retrospect, I experience subdued (not "overjoy") respect for the long-suffering masses that have endured American treachery for the past 60-plus years. I am sorry to say it but the innocent lives lost on 9/11 are a mere tiny fraction of the innocent lives snuffed out by the American empire. You can suck your teeth at my convictions but I stand by my word and you have no insight that can stand against it. All that you can do is put a plaster on your agony and moan. :bandaid:

'Sucking my teeth' as you put it would require me to care a great deal more than I do. I have been running into people like you all my life. You cannot imagine how unintersting and unoriginal your views are or how little I really care about them. Millions more where you came from and they all sound exactly the same.

Watching you convince yourself that your opinions matter is good for a laugh though.

    I see.

I'm also laughing actually, because despite you reading what I've written (as well as similar words from the "millions more where I come from") you've learnt bugger all. Perhaps the expression, "Everybody's wrong but only you are right" can make an impression upon you. You've said nothing (not a single word) in defense of your opposing view whereas I've offered you a summary of the facts. Your argument against it is, "You're wrong!" Gosh!

Here's hoping more punishment rains down in Iran's capabilities to help fund Russia.

There are enough weapons in Israel alone to do real harm to Iranian drone production and/or inventory.

NAZI Russia is the aggressor just as NAZI Germany was therefore any and all weapons holding off nuclear unless Russia uses nuclear first.

You're probably not familiar with the area or maybe your geography sucks. The NAZI Azov Regiment is NoKranium, not Russian.

    Who attacked Iran?

    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-64445306?at_medium=RSS&at_campaign=KARANGA

The Iranian defence ministry says it has foiled a drone attack on a military facility in the city of Isfahan.

The ministry said three drones were involved but there were no casualties.

One drone was destroyed by air defence systems and two were caught by "defence traps", causing minor damage to a building, the ministry added.

The extent of damage to the site has not been confirmed by the BBC, and there has been no immediate claim of responsibility.

It comes amid heightened tensions over Iran's nuclear programme and its supply of arms to Russia's war in Ukraine.

I know, just would have liked Ukraine to return the drones with interest.
