If they cause a threat we should deal with it. No we have to deal with it. The only thing more destructive than a war would be for America to appear spineless. The rest of the western world is spineless so if America falters then all hell will break loose.
And ISIS grew and grew after Obama pulled all US troops out of Iraq. That was as moronic as appeasing Hitler.
We can continue to squeeze Iran without going to war. Trump has shown how that is done although I heard today that the reason he doesn’t attack Iran is because he is a racist. The progressives are unbelievable.
Nope. Once ISIS got close to Bagdad the Iraqis finally figured out we were done dying to protect them and they stood up for their own country. Had to happen some day.
Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump In order to get elected, @barackobama will start a war with Iran. 5:48 AM - Nov 30, 2011 Dirty Don telegraphed his own thinking and future methods while projecting them onto Obama.
Obama didn’t have to start a war. He gave Iraq away to Iranian control. What future methods are you talking about.
He wants to start a war with Iran in order to get elected. It won't work, of course, but then neither does anything else he has tried since beating the most beatable Democratic candidate in living memory.
That’s absurd. Is that an example of the progressive thought process ?? BTW the Democratic lineup of candidates is high comedy. They run on open borders, reparations, socialism, student loan payoffs by taxpayers, higher taxes, increased energy costs, preventing law abiding citizens from defending themselves, and place the welfare of non US citizens above the welfare of US citizens.
Negotiate the freedom of these crews, perhaps release the Iranian tanker without its' cargo? But from now on every Merchant Navy ship in the Gulf has an FPG team on it.
Indeed, I hear plenty of civilians are dying. No US or Iran military just civilians. Sanctions are a war directed at civilians particularly the sick and most poor.
I believe Iran is holding the second ship until we free theirs. This seems without question something which the US engineered and it looks like the UK was not desperately keen on. Of course now idiots voted for Brexit any idea that the UK has any Sovereignty is gone. The UK now is a vassal of the US and must do what the US wants. I will give a link which fits it with what I have heard before. The UK taking Iran's boat had nothing to do with the EU or legality. Hence from what others have said here, it was an act of war by the UK against Iran. That basically is it. This is not a very difficult one to decipher. The UK has made itself subject to the US through Brexit and the US demanded the UK take this boat as it had oil in it and the American's are determined to stop Iran being able to make any money. One way or another they are determined to kill the citizens of Iran. Iran will not say who the oil is for suggesting it was a country breaking the oil embargo. Britain is a cheap slave of the US. Now as the Guardian article says, Hunt was aware from the very beginning that taking Iran's boat left British shipping vulnerable in the straits and this was further emphasised when Iran made clear it would be taking one of Britain's boats. This of course was what the US wanted. If Iran took one of Britain's boats, then just in the same way as the US ignores the attacks Israel makes on Gaza before Gaza attacks and Israel then mass murders calling it defending itself, here again the US hoped to engage the American people that it was worth a war against Iran as they had taken one of Britain's ships, an act of war, completely ignoring that the UK had first taken one of Iran's ships meaning if anyone declared war it was the UK against Iran. Hunt was working to resolve the situation in order that British ships would be safe and that the situation would not escalate even more and it looked like it was going to happen but..... https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jul/20/gulf-crisis-tanker-retaliation-iran-hormuz What is the betting US interference again. Trump sounded delighted that Iran had taken British boats and promised the most heinous response to the Iranians. Meanwhile the UK Government has to act all offended to placate her own citizens. I think the US believes it has trapped the UK to go to war against Iran with the US. Brexit for Independence my arse.
Alexa, the whole thing is strange. The UK, which is essentially divorcing itself from the EU, decides (without consulting the EU) to enforce EU sanctions. This, while the PM is on her way out the door. Apparently now the "coalition of the willing" consists of the US and the UK. Is the world supposed to be impressed?
It was never about EU sanctions. According to Zarif, the EU sanctions were never about bringing oil to Syria but about taking it out - that is stopping Syria from making money from its oil. The UK action was about stopping Iran being able to sell her oil - possibly to Turkey. Then you can add to that that the EU does not demand other countries follow her sanctions. The US does. Spain saying this was done on the demands of the US ring true. Yes Boris loves Trump and Trump loves Boris. Hunt had said emphatically that Britain would not go to war with Iran and he would make that clear to the US. Boris though as new PM is another issue The UK is not willing.
It seems odd that the tanker that was seized was reported to be off course and entered Iranian waters. And the second tanker is reported to have been disobeying regulations - not following shipping lanes either? Who controls GPS? - The US! A conspiracy?
Germany would never let NATO fight againgst its new Axis ally, iran There is too many Deutsche Marks aka Euro’s to be made selling to the crazy mullahs
The US has been correctly seen as the greatest threat to world peace for many years now. https://www.google.com/search?clien...d=0ahUKEwjr4q63o8PjAhUDhlwKHbfFDoU4ChDh1QMICg
yep, they'll through themselves under the bus to further 'that' agenda... they chose clinton, they haled clinton, they 'knew' she'd win, they loved her... and just like that, she's now, and i quote, "the most beatable democratic candidate in living memory"... lololol
