    General Shateri, head of Iran's alQuds Force (Iranian version of Mossad, SAS, etc.) and two Iranian aides were shot and killed by Syrian rebels, when their convoy was ambushed. Syrian troops, escorting the general's party were unmolested.:oldman:

    Iranians are claiming the attack was Israeli-inspired.

    Article is claiming (rather matter-of-factly) there are strong ties between Iran, the Assad regime, and Hezbollah.:confusion:
