Never said I was scared. Just pointed out that in said testimony, any interference they are claiming started with Bill Barr when Trump was president, and just continued from there. That being said, that negates any chance that Biden intentionally weaponized the IRS or DOJ based on said testimony, if that testimony is held to be true.

This is the attempt of the GOP, especially Comer, trying to put a very large square peg into a very small round hole. It does not work that way, and why it shows generally that Congressional investigations of a political nature are not to be taken seriously.

I would suggest you read the transcripts and what was said and when it started.

No one is trying to proof anything to you or any other lefty here. Just keeping you all informed so you're not blindsided when the new DOJ AG is appointed after Republicans when back the WH in 2024.

You're right, Biden wasn't President, strange that he was storing classified documents in the garage where this car was parked, do you believe these three had clearance?

btw, this photo is from July 30, 2017, the day Hunter messaged Henry Zhao with Joe in the room.

2 Whistleblowers Allege Sweeping Misconduct in Hunter Biden Probe

    Fortunate Son:

'Biden agreed to enter guilty pleas for two misdemeanor tax charges that related to his failure to pay tax on more than $3 million in income.'

Weiss' supervisors refused to allow felony charges.

'Weiss sought to bring charges in the Central District of California in the fall of 2022 and had that request denied in January of 2023."'

    DIRTBAG MERRICK LIES:

'This week, after Biden's plea deal was announced, Attorney General Merrick Garland said Justice Department leadership had no role in the charging decision. "As I said from the moment of my appointment as attorney general, I would leave this matter in the hands of the United States Attorney (David Weiss)'

'"10 held by H for the big guy?" is shorthand for 10% held by Hunter Biden for his father.'

    DELIBERATELY CONCEALED JOE BIDEN'S INVOLVEMENT

'references to "dad" and "the big guy" was blocked by a senior prosecutor working for Weiss. '

FULFILLING COMMITMENT = SEND THE MONEY:

"I am sitting here with my father..we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled," Hunter Biden allegedly wrote, according to the transcript. He added, "I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand" and "now means tonight."

The two WB testimonies proved that wrong. If it started under Bill Barr and continued from there, then you have: 1) no proof that Biden started it, 2) no proof of intentional wrongdoing, and 3) IRS was following standard procedures at that time. The two WB are persons who had jobs on the outside and then were hired by the IRS sometime in 2007 or therearbouts. Both show or have shown that they challenged the current IRS rules and procedures, could not get any help, and therefore became disgruntled. And they are using the Whistleblower laws to achieve that goal.

Whistleblowing a howitzer round into Biden-scandals coverup

Per whistleblower Gary Shapley, Assistant US Attorney Lesley Wolf “told us there was more than enough probable cause for the physical search warrant” for Joe Biden’s guest house (where Hunter often stayed) in September 2020 — but Wolf refused to go for it, arguing it wasn’t worth the political price.

    https://nypost.com/2023/06/22/hunter-biden-whistleblower-destroys-garland-cover-up-efforts/

"In a September 3rd, 2023 [2020], pros meeting, the Assistant United States Attorney, Lesley Wolf, told us there was more than enough probable cause for the physical search warrant there, but the question was whether the juice was worth the squeeze. She continued that optics were a driving factor in the decision on whether to execute a search warrant. She said a lot of evidence in our investigation would be found in the guest house of former Vice President Biden, but said there is no way we will get that approved.

The two WB testimonies proved nothing wrong... if you think Barr was some secret Trump operative you are easily fooled.. You need to look into how Weiss was tethered by Garland and that Garland lied to Congress that Weiss had no restrictions or oversight.. It happened under Trump by the very people who were trying to overthrow the Trump presidency in a treasonous insurrection... from day one....keep twisting and spinning my liberal friend...

Going off memory, but I think they said ~$17M in income, roughly $8.5M of that went to Hunter (of which he claims he gives half to his father). The rest went to his business associates.. potentially his two most prominent business associates who claimed Joe Biden is "The Big Guy."

Is it possible for Republicans to deal with a serious matter? Who cares about Hunter's taxes?

Then there are the activities of a former President.

Finally, the DOJ is moving on Donald Trump's foolish attempt to overthrow our elected government.

It has been a while. Trump's insurrection scheme began in November 2020.

Incidentally, the continued silence from Republicans tells us a great deal about the Republican Party.

CNN reports, "Special counsel Jack Smith has compelled at least two Republican fake electors to testify to a federal grand jury in Washington in recent weeks by giving them limited immunity, part of a current push by federal prosecutors to swiftly nail down evidence in the sprawling criminal investigation into efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

"The testimony, described to CNN by people familiar with the situation, comes after a year of relative dormancy around the fake electors portion of the investigation and as a parade of related witnesses are being told to appear before the grand jury with no chance for delay.

"That activity could signal that investigators are nearing at least some charging decisions in a part of the 2020 election probe, sources added. It also comes just as the special counsel’s office filed charges against former President Donald Trump for his handling of classified documents.

"Prosecutors have played hardball with some of the witnesses in recent weeks, refusing to grant extensions to grand jury subpoenas for testimony and demanding they comply before the end of this month, sources said. In the situations where prosecutors have given witnesses immunity, the special counsel’s office arrived at the courthouse in Washington ready to compel their testimony after the witnesses indicated they would decline to answer questions under the Fifth Amendment.

"Prosecutors have also continued to focus on potential financial crimes and money laundering after Trump raised millions of dollars off false claims the election was stolen.

"In recent weeks, the special counsel’s office has also shown interest in several members of Trump’s post-election legal team who promoted baseless claims of widespread voter fraud, including his former lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, as well as former Justice Department appointee Jeffrey Clark, who tried to help Trump’s push to use the Department of Justice to overturn the election."

The inherent problem with Trump is a lack of intelligence coupled with a sincere belief that he is immune from our nation's law. Recently, Trump has found this is not the case. Still, Republicans in Congress and those running for President defend him.

    Go figure!

I don't understand that, either, but apparently, the forum's Republicans do as evidenced by their silence on this matter.

""potentially his two most prominent business associates who claimed Joe Biden is "The Big Guy.""

Yea... the $10 million just showed up in the "big guy's" 2017 tax return s corp section somehow... Reckon the "IRS Mandatory Presidential Audit Policy" looked into this? the most they made was $400K before.
    Let Denish speak for himself

IRS whistleblowers are also saying Hunter fraudulently deducted payments to hookers which was may have also been a federal sex trafficking crime since he paid for their airfare and hotels, likely across state lines.

But it happened in 2020 under Trump's watch. So again, how is this Biden's doing when he was not even President?

then it was in 2023? Was this done twice or does the WB have the dates confused?

Barr was appointed by Trump, and he was Trump's man. Are you now telling me that Trump didn't know what the hell he was doing when he appointed Barr as AG?

BTW, how did Garland lie? Evidence and not your opinion or other's opinion.

Trump did not have control over Barr... you got the "party bug"... You actually think Trump is part of the deep state that was trying to overthrow Trump's presidency... now there is some liberal thinking for ya....

Weiss was Assistant U.S. attorney under President George W. Bush from 2007 to 2009 and President Barack Obama from 2012 to 2018, and had been the acting and interim U.S. attorney under Obama from 2009 to 2011.

The whistleblower was in a meeting with David Weiss where Weiss was told not to pursue the Hunter Biden and not bring charges in 2022..
And Garland proceeded to claim otherwise...

IRS whistleblowers: David Weiss blocked from bringing Hunter Biden charges in DC and California... as Garland lied to Congress that Weiss had no oversight a free to do what he wanted... except the whistleblower said otherwise...

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...enied-special-counsel-status-bringing-charges
*Delaware US Attorney David Weiss sought to bring federal charges against Hunter, 53, in the Central District of California and in Washington, DC, last year and was denied both times by Biden-appointed US attorneys Martin Estrada and Matthew Graves, respectively.
