This is actually an incredibly important question, what is an ice age, and how do ice ages begin....

70 million years ago, Antarctica had live dinosaurs. Hopefully nobody here actually thinks those dinosaurs lived on 2 miles of ice at -60F.....

But leftwing science invalids have to PARROT an "expert." Is there a taxpayer funded study that claims Antarctica is an ice age?

    Lol!

So if there is no "study" that says it is, then go ahead and tell us it is not....

nevermind it is covered with 2 miles of ice.....

    Wow, everybody, just wow.

We have all these big government left wing "experts" telling us we must fork over trillions of $$$ to the co2 fraud cause, and none of these "experts" has the courage to answer the OP question??

    Lol

"Climate expert" - a parroting moron cuckoo clock who seeks out left wing fudge studies to parrot without ever questioning or fact checking....

Hey left wing climate expert, is Antarctica an ice age....

Um, duh, I can't find a left wing fudge study that answers your question..... Otherwise I'd be parroting it like a broken cuckoo clock...

    Search for

North American ice age (and notice it is CONTINENT SPECIFIC).

One million years ago, all of Canada and down to Indiana was covered with mile plus thick ice age glaciers. That ice did a lot of melting in the past million years.

    Search for

    Ancient Greenland green

Experts went to Greenland and drilled through the thickest parts of the ice sheet, dug up pine cones etc., and carbon dated them 400k-800k years old. One million years ago, Greenland was completely green. When the Vikings arrived 2500 years ago, the southern tip was all green, and those ancient Viking dwellings are deep under ice today...

So in the past million years, Greenland froze while North America thawed. How did co2 do that? Did co2 clump over North America and flee Greenland?

    Lol

Clearly, co2 had nothing to do with either event.

    What did change?

Plate tectonics, the plates moved, North America moved south west and Greenland moved north west.... As a piece of land gets to within 600 miles of an earth pole, the annual snowfall ceases to fully melt, and it starts to STACK, and that is the start of an ICE AGE, which is a CONTINENT SPECIFIC event as Greenland and North America just proved, and also because ice that sticks out over water breaks off...right mr. Ismay?

So what happened to Antarctica? 70 million years ago, Antarctica was not on the South Pole, but halfway to Africa and still attached to South America. As it got closer and closer to the South Pole, it got colder and colder, and then it started stacking ice. It was still attached to South America when that happened, because the southern tip of South America has "recent" glaciation data all over it.

Antarctica is an ice age. Ice ages are continent specific, but they have global consequences.

If earth had two polar oceans, it would have no ice - Jurassic "warm earth" parameter

Since Antarctica is 90% of earth ice, if there were two polar continents, two antarcticas, there would be 80% more ice, it would be colder, drier, and the oceans would be lower.

Climate change is 99% about where land is. Co2 is either statistically insignificant or a total zero non factor....

If it isn't parroted from a taxpayer funded fudge baking liar, it is "garbage" says the cuckoo clock who cannot refute one word of it...

If you have no intent of debating science, **** off...

Let me know when you start debating science.

You'll never find a ,over here with that attitude and neither will your climate faux pas with ice.

Still awaiting a leftist clamoring for trillions $$$ to fuss over co2 to come here and explain how co2 froze Greenland at the same time it thawed North America....

Antarctica is a continent. An ice age is a span of time, not a physical piece of land. Therefore, Antarctica can't be an "ice age".

Is that clear, or do I need to use smaller words?

Anways, your argument is a non sequitur fallacy. Whether CO2 causes warming is unrelated to why Antarctica got glaciated.

Antarctic ice age clearly started after the 70 million year old Dino fossils were still roaming around, hence the

AGE of the Antarctic ice age is less than 70 million years ago to present and still ongoing.

    Red herring.....

Co2 has nothing to do with earth climate change.
