I mean, we have gender being a social construct, women encouraged to be independent... so what do you call women that like hunting and fishing and trucks and guns and stuff?

I call them awesome and can't wait for the day we can call them 'normal', but it seems like some people think they need to be 'independent' without doing a lot of the things that actually help make someone independent.

Or maybe when people say 'independent' they mean something else...?

one of the reasons I married my wife-she liked fox hunting (on horseback) before we met and when we were dating she asked me if her future father in law (my late father) would take her to his fly fishing club and to our hunting club's property

I don't know about independent, but I've been renovating my house that is tenanted by my sister and 3 girls her age. Z gen. Absolutely impractical and very dirty and messy. A bit disappointed by my sister as well, but she can be practical if she wants to be. She keeps fit and if there's something to be done around the house she's the one who will motivate the others.

I love practical women. Put another way, I find impractibility and physical laziness in a woman ugly. Mind you, I also like women who are educated and articulate. I think this makes a better long-term match.

As for OP, suspect Samira is simply threatened and jealous. I avoid her type like the plague.

Women are born to certain things, men are born to certain things. There are exceptions of many degrees along the way. Aren't we lucky.

Only lefties would have a problem with this. To the right, the party of INDIVIDUALITY, this is just a woman that likes to fish and hunt, plain and simple.
