Is it considered bad for straight people to go to gay bars?

I hate dishonesty and manipulations and dirty rotten tricks of all sorts.

If a person treats me with fairness and respect, I will treat them the same way. If they don't want to, then that is a one way relationship and i don't do those, I will simply go away and not be around them if I can help it. I do try to be a straightforward and decent kind of guy, but I am not perfect and do fail at times. I also have many other personality flaws and faults too.

Despite my own personal hang ups, prejudices and bigotries, I do try to follow my own codes and ethics. And some of it does indeed come from the Bible. I did use to be a Christian, and was raised one. Now I am not, but some of the Bible's morality has stuck with me, and it's stuck with me because I have seen the harm that some people have caused that are in the Bible that the Bible addresses. Such as bearing false witness. Bearing false witness causes a lot of harm.

But, I don't really believe in truth anymore. one of my favorite sayings from Babylon 5 about it comes from a race called the Vorlons.

Truth is a three edged sword.

in short, there are many points of view of the truth. A painter's truth is going to be a different truth from a computer programmer or astrophysicists, or in politics, the difference between liberal, conservative, christian, and others.

The problem is not there are different POVs, is that an awful lot of people believe that only their POV counts, and everybody else's should be the same, and therefore those who don't share it, well it's okay to punish people to keep them in line with the truth, using any means necessary to accomplish this.
