Calling white people racists has worked so well for Democrats that they should put up billboards on every Interstate that say "All white people are deplorable racists - Vote Democrat!" with a picture of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.

Everyone knows the BEST way to win elections is to rant insults at a majority of the voters. This forces them to vote for your candidate. The Democrats needs to double down on making as many insults as possible as loudly as possible at the greatest number of voters possible. :roflol:

I wonder if it is possible for the corporate propaganda media and press to find ways to become more hated by more Americans?

What we are hearing is the death cries of cable news and major newspapers. Their ranting and sobbing is hastening their inevitable deaths due to the Internet.

It reminds one of the military experts during WW I. They knew, from the history of the US Civil War, that massed infantry could be mowed down like grass by machine guns. Nevertheless, they continued to send an entire generation under the mowing machines.

Trump has now effectively mowed the MSM into mulch - as they just keep running right into the blades while chanting pathetic PC slogans and slander. "Racist!" "Homophobe!" "Climate Denier!" Chop Chop Chop. Only 6% of Americans still trust the MSM.

    The short answer in NO.

Trump's racist base doesn't want to deal with an attack on their character.

The topic seems pointless to me because the Hillary had loads of racists supporting her, and not only did she not denounce them, she embraced them. BLM for example.

These feeble diversions fail miserably. No other candidate in the US has been enthusiastically supported by neo-nazi and white supremacist organizations.

The Trump alone IS POTUS and mewling about private citizens and alleging comparable affinities does not alter that reality.

Trump is indeed POTUS. Say it with enthusiasm: Donald John Trump, President of the United States Of America.

I know that you can do it.

Indeed, Trump is enthusiastically supported by neo-nazis and other white supremacists.

Why does his cult find it so difficult to state that fact?

    The Sheriff's back in town.

(And, I still can't figure out why Trump's fans won't defend his appeal to racists).:salute:

At least they are finally admitting Trump is the president elected by the people. It's small progress, but progress.

Congrats on your breakthrough, Natty Bumpo.

Indeed it is possible to have a civil discussion (I can't speak for anyone below, but I believe so). Every candidate has extremist supporters. Being an avid psychology student, I've often analyzed the way Trump is, and have come to this conclusion. He is an incredibly immature person who likes attention. If you remember back to the beginning of his campaign, he wasn't all that race baiting. He let one thing slip once (because, let's face it, if you're 70 years old, chances are you're not really PC), and then got the attention of a bunch of racists. Him being so immature, he "meant what he said and said what he meant". This made his crowd cheer more. And thus in mr orange oompa loompa's mind, something clicked. "If I race bait, people cheer for me". And hence, the Trump you see today.

Unfortunately, this has empowered the extremists and the closet racists. Trump has never actually said anything really racist, but he has garnered the support of racists with a few old person slips and his immaturity makes real racists think that he is fighting for their cause. I actually have no problem with Trump if he wasn't so stupid; and I personally hate his Cabinet.

I have never speculated as to whether the Novelty Act is, himself, a racist. As you note, he discovered what he must espouse to attract his overtly racist followers, and their enthusiasm for him, such as they had never expressed for any other major party nominee, is itself, informative - And that is information some would desperately wish to suppress by contriving their pathetic diversions. The neo-nazi Daily Stormer and other white supremacist organizations that are giddy over their "leader" enjoy freedom of speech, and should not be forced to kerb their enthusiasm because some hardcore Trumpers regard them as not being "pc."

    And so what?

Copy and post the quotes you claim, Trump claiming Obama lost the "popular vote". I've never heard him say that or read a quote of him saying that Obama lost the "popular vote". Which election McCain or Romney?

    • Well I think we can all stipulate the are people but the issue is why would you assist and support them in spreading their message?

No one has a "right to be acknowledge" but you do have a right to support their efforts as distasteful them might be for you to do so.

Really how do you get to be deserved to be heard Again why do you support their efforts to be heard? I didn't think that was something people would want to post on a public forum.

Trump went out of his way to capture the extremist vote. What makes this dangerous, is that when the tables turn, the extremist groups may not be accepting to a new agenda, and resort to violence. Remember this:

    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/tea-party-getting-violent-10-house-dems-report-threats-vandalism/

Now that they've felt the Power, they may act out on more of this violence, before relinquishing it.

Refer to previous post. Or, I guess keep pretending he was referring to some imaginary other election at the time.

Why do these racist groups support Trump?

You've heard the answer a dozen times but are so fixated on racism you don't seem able to digest it.

These "racists" are white working class. The white working class is doing very poorly these days and the Republicans and Democrats don't seem to care, but for different reasons.

Trump listens to and addresses the concerns of the white working class: immigration and globalization.

That they also happen to be racist is not an especially interesting point.

Probably the vast majority of Trump supporters are not very knowledgeable of the KKK or Neo-Nazi agenda, so would not be well equipped to answer any questions.
Are there any members of the groups you mention on this forum? They would probably be the ones you should be discussing with. Faced with a choice between Clinton and Trump, it's doubtful race was much of an issue for the vast majority of Trumps supporters.

See that's just it though. I don't think he's racist any more than your grandfather is racist. They just aren't PC. Trump is actually pretty old, and so I think he's just one of those old people who is "racist," but I don't think he actually advocates for groups like the Daily Stormer and David Duke, he just likes the praise.

As for his followers, there are about three different factions of them. The first group is just loyal Republicans who voted for him just because he was a Republican and will make any excuse to rationalize his behavior. Then there's the people who voted for him because they like his message (the racists fall into this category) and feel that he is empowering their group. The last group, which is interesting, is the people who voted for him because they didn't like Hillary. And the last group is the one most dissatisfied with what he's doing right now.
