Instead of the right wing I will have to start calling it the whine wing. Jesus. What bunch of little victims LOL!

 

Government and science better get their arse in gear and get a good vaccine on the market, STAT. Because people ain't going to obey again.

 

It was right after the Democrats' second attempt to steal what they couldn't earn at the ballot box failed in February.

 

That "Media" was all about politics before, I expect nothing less now. The riot "police" have professionally funded masks for their "protesters," so those living in urban areas with all the ventilated shops should be fine in the second round, plus soap is showing up again. All they have to do is mask the snout and wash their grubby paws.

The "success" of being the first President impeached in his first term with the most "yes" votes in US history, but not removed from office and not hearing from any additional witnesses is probably one of the major reasons why Trump failed to do anything during the entire month of February.

That and his desire to hold on desperately to the phase one of the China Trade deal.

 

How do yous know you are healthy when eventually you will die?

 

Yes, eventually we will all die. (That is not necessarily a bad thing. Living past the age of one million years--or even one billion years--does not especially appeal to me. Presumably, one would have no sense of sight; no sense of hearing; and, at best, greatly diminished senses of other sorts.)

In a long-winded Facebook rant Sehlke claimed that “our government is under attack from within” while comparing the coronavirus to “the impeachment hoax” and arguing that those who take the current pandemic seriously “panic like sheep.”

So your criterion for success is that we're all not dead yet?

Once this is over I will remember who wanted to kill me so they can get back to business and it won't be the big corporations. From now on I go out of my way to not deal with any small business.

 

To your first point: Once we build-up herd immunity, something you seem determined to prevent, the death rate will become far fewer.

To your second point: Hordes of violent law breaking protestors have been allowed run wild on our city streets with hardly any arrests being made at all (Seattle being the latest example), yet small business owners are being fined and sent to jail for doing nothing more than operating their own legal business.

What you may want to ask yourself is: WFT is wrong with people like you?

 

Yet you took the time to cherry-pick and highlight this one particular death for the sole reason of her political views, as though we are to believe that no liberal covid activists will ever die from covid.

We will never reopen if we continue to live in fear of this virus. That’s the bottom line, and these authoritarian governors know that. Nature will have to take its course to move on. And yes, it is a success because these people now have antibodies that could be used toward a vaccine.

You do realize small businesses built up this country, right? Before there was Walmart, Sam Walton had a five and dime store. What we need to worry about if we are so concerned about the health of others is the amount of suicides that will happen as a result of this lockdown.

 

You see the riots that have happened over George Floyd? Now think about that same civil unrest that will unfurl if they try shutting us down again.

 

The protests against house arrest and being forced not to work have been peaceful so far, no riot-loot-burn-murder.

Businesses and individuals are just going to ignore the government, and maybe have something like the Minutemen on call to rescue business owners and individuals.

 

Have these protests been all that productive, though? I’m not an advocate for violence, but the reason the protests over Floyd have sent people in power running is simply because of the carnage that has unfurled. I made a good point to a friend that if we protested to the amount we are over a George Floyds death, we would see lifts in the lockdown much faster.

 

People who just want to work and live and pay their due taxes generally are not violent until violence is done against them.

Of course it's always good to meet state ordered violence with violence.

 

With virus rates growing dramatically in Florida and Arizona it knocks the hell out of the theory that heat would kill the virus!! We are now projected to have 200,000 deaths by September.

Are rates of infection actually growing or is it increased testing?

People should use a bit of logic when considering the “heat theory”. It is a fact heat has a profound effect on the virus. But if you are shut up in a poorly ventilated climate controlled building with other people it isn’t going to matter that it’s 95F outside, is it? I’m pretty sure the low infection rates we see in places like Hawaii for instance are partly a result of weather. Much of the population of Hawaii lives in well ventilated structures and don’t use AC a lot. In theory this would have a profound effect on infection rates. In places like Southern California, I would expect summer heat to cause rates to rise as AC use increases.

It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out in the end.

Well, I really do not know if heat will kill the virus, or not. But there are other factors at work in Florida and Arizona--such as, for instance, their opening up earlier than most other states are doing.

And who has projected these "200,000 deaths by September"?

And what, exactly, is their methodology?

In other words: What are the assumptions, upon which this projection is based?
