Is this what build back better means?

As Russia invades a neighbor, we are told that a democracy is in peril, and we should respond with great empathy as well as anger. Americans have good reason to be cynical about Ukraine’s true intolerant anti-democratic nature. It is not presented realistically by media in the United States. Ukraine’s government is not a fledgling democracy struggling to survive in the face of an attack by a communist dictatorship. It is falsely presented by American mass media as a democracy like the US when in fact it is an authoritarian state. This is not to say that the people of Ukraine deserve what has happened. But US support of Ukraine should never be predicated on support of an autocratic government headed by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a corrupt dictator in his own right.

The US is coming as close to nuclear conflict with Russia as it was in 1962. Americans are being played by Washington and fellow traveling mass media to push Vladimir Putin into using chemical and nuclear weapons. Our current leadership in Washington regards Ukraine as a model for what it wants for the United States. Zelenskyy has banned all opposing political parties and has combined all media into a state-controlled information cartel. If this sounds familiar, American voters are still reeling from a stolen presidential election and the president they voted for has been banned from many social media platforms.

What does build back better mean? Before the election we had low gas prices, affordable housing, well stocked grocery shelves, and were independent energy producers. Now we are facing historical inflation, skyrocketing murder rates and possible nuclear war. Americans may want to examine the rubble of Ukraine and realize that this may be what Washington wants for us as they build back better. Washington regards opposing opinions as a threat to its plans just like Zelenskyy sees television stations and news outlets that oppose him as colluders with Russia. Remember that last election? Sound familiar again? Colluding with Russia could be heralded by historians as the downfall of real democracy in our time.

The people of Ukraine are not responsible for their demise, and we should sympathize with them. But their suffering could be part of a global plan to stamp out democracy in the west as an obstacle to world government. Politicians in Washington will go to underground shelters protected from radiation if intercontinental ballistic missiles are launched. You and your children will be long dead as they re-emerge to build back better. Isn’t this a fine kettle of fish? We should have seen it coming after that last election in the US. Does anyone seriously believe we would facing this disaster if our last election had been valid?

Can we fix this? We damn well better or it’s over.

Democracy? Zelensky Martial Law Forces Merger of Ukraine Media, Outlaws Opposition Parties | The latest paranoid presidential decree effectively shuts down political pluralism in Ukraine, as the increasingly paranoid US-backed president has officially deemed any ethnic Russian political or media activity in Ukraine as suspicious, claiming that ‘the activities of those politicians aimed at division or collusion will not succeed, but will receive a harsh response.’ IMAGE: Zelensky (ussanews.com)

I tend to look at the Ukraine in terms of its people rather than its government. I have no idea whether the government is corrupt or not. What is see is a much larger country invading a much smaller country for no other purpose than to try to create the empire of yesterday. Putin is ruthless and is willing to do whatever he believes is necessary to achieve that goal. He is slaughtering civilians with the hope that will persuade the Ukraine to give up.

Forget the government of the Ukraine for now. Let's help the citizens.

No one argues against that. But what about the big picture? What is this really all about? Are the people of Ukraine just pawns in the greater plan of eliminating democracy in the US?

Our own government has played us for many years now....... feeding lies to the media what they want them to broadcast to the world....then agencies who "don't acknowledge or deny investigations" don't have to ever be held accountable for what is really going on... but we have the internet that helps but not eliminates those lies...

Let the Europeans solve the problem. The USA needs to do what is best for it's citizens. Did we not learn anything from Korea, Viet Nam, and Afghanistan?

For now, there is no big picture.
