So you have no problem with the NRA gun fetish culture enabling crazies to go on mass shooting sprees and killing innocent Americans instead?

The fundamentalist Christians refused to condemn the terrorism of their fellow theists who were murdering doctors and bombing abortion clinics. No, they have not "evolved" from those beliefs.

That is a complete lie. Which fundamentalist Christians are you talking about, where? Yes there are some, the sect that committed the acts are the ones who wouldn't condemm it. It was an outrage for non radical Christians everywhere.

Anyway, I am talking about Christians/Muslims in General, non-fundamentalist Christians. There are also different types of "fundamentalist" Christians. Yes the radical muslims are bad, but I'm talking about the moderates who support them and how many percentage wise there are compared to Christian moderates who support acts like that. It is not even close.

Also in the book itself (new testament), or in apostolic writings, nothing like these acts of violence are ever supported. Not so in Islam. The Christians who do these acts are not following the New testament, but are just using some verse in the old testament to further their personal cause. Whatever the case in Christianity murder is still a sin, however it is done, whether through abortion or blowing up clinics. Not so when these acts are done in Islam. Sometimes, it is not defined as murder. When its done there they are following how their prophet acted. That is the difference.

Since I explicitly used the term "fundamentalist Christians" your faux outrage is misplaced. FTR the next time you erroneously accuse me of lying you will be reported.
Onus is entirely on YOU to PROVE that all Muslims agree with the Islamic terrorists or that the percentages are different between the religions.

The point is I don't know what you mean by fundamentalist Christians, because those "fundamentalist" Christians are not even following the new testament, not very fundamentalist to my eyes. That is really what i'm "outraged" about, although I'm not really outraged. I stated that was a complete lie, because it is. You stated fundamentalist Christians all did not condemn the bombers and yet failed to say who these fundamentalist Christians were, right after I was explicitly talking about the general 1.8 billion Muslim population and not the fundamentalist Muslim population.

No, I don't need to prove all Muslims agree with the Islamic terrorists, because they obviously don't and I never said they did. Also here:

The site that you are using as the primary source is not credible.

Validating what they have compiled is hard work. So let's take an example at random out of what your source provided and see if it holds up to scrutiny.

Now we go to the link provided and see what it ACTUALLY says about Muslims.

Compare and contrast the DIFFERENCE between what was in your disinformation source to what was in the ORIGINAL source.

    The Disinformation version;

45% of British Muslims agree that clerics preaching violence against the West represent "mainstream Islam".

    The ORIGINAL version;

Half (49%) believe Muslim clerics preaching that violence against the west can be justified are out of touch with mainstream Muslim opinion, while 45% disagree.

Notice how it has been EDITED to reflect something that was NOT in the original poll. Then there is everything that they LEFT OUT from the original source.

    • Almost all Muslims living in Britain feel a loyalty to the country (95%). Just 6% say they feel a disloyalty.
    • Nine in ten (93%) British Muslims believe that Muslims in Britain should always obey British laws.
    • One in nine (11%) British Muslims feel sympathetic towards people who want to fight against western interests while 85% do not.
Only 6% feel disloyalty to the the UK. 93% are law abiding UK citizens. 85% are opposed to those who are fighting against the west.

According to your disinformation source that number should be 45% but instead it is 10%.

The lesson here is NOT to take everything you see on the internet at face value. Instead check the credibility of the source. Verify the information for yourself to ensure that it hasn't been distorted by those with an agenda.

When I uncover this kind of blatant distortion of the facts it tells me that those with an agenda are FORCED to make up this kind of disinformation because the FACTS do not support their bigotry.

    Peace
    DT

I have just as much respect for YOUR deity as I go for God/Jesus/Allah because your deity has exactly the same amount of court-room level of evidence for his existence. Your deity is much TASTIER than the flesh and blood of Jesus that Catholics eat, by the way, so I like him more!

You don't appear to understand that fact that the ISLAMIC TEXTS THEMSELVES call for violence against non-believers - Muslims have a cheerleader for war - his name is "Mohammad".

The old "Jobs for Jihadis" ruse, eh, DT?
No, we need to discredit faith....THAT is the solution, at least long-term.
You are insulting poor people - poor people are not terrorists. What terrorists ARE inspired by is the reward of 72 virgins for killing non-Muslims - so Islam is to blame.

Ask yourself: How many Muslims currently live in the UK or even London itself? How many Muslims participated in the terrorist attacks? What you're advocating is punishing an entire population for something one or a handful of individuals did wrong. That's like saying all Jews should be regarded as expendable because a few Pharisees in Roman times led the movement to get Jesus crucified. It's like saying all Americans are bad people, or America itself is a failed democracy, because one incredibly stupid subgroup of them succeeded in electing Donald Trump as President of the U.S. over the will of the majority. Psychologists call what you're doing "generalization." It's a dysfunctional way of attempting to avoid the complexities of life by over-simplifying them and pretending those over-simplified categories are actually real. But they're not. Life is incredibly complex and multi-dimensional. We have to learn to grow within ourselves and measure up to that complexity if we are ever to be successful as spiritual or even human beings. It's not easy. But it's one very big reason we're here.

Psalm 14:1–3 “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
Matthew 10:34–37 “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.”
Luke 14:26 “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”
Psalm 137:9 “Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.”
John 15:6 “If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.”
2 Chronicles 15:13 “That whosoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.”
Deuteronomy 13:12–16 “If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the Lord thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying, Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known; Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you; Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.”

Holy crap what a violent book!
Is this from Mein Kampf, or a book written by Genghis Khan? Wow!
I'm glad as a Modern Secular Humanist I don't have texts like this encouraging me to slaughter my fellow man....thank god (well, if he was actually real.)

ENOUGH attack us for Islam to be a problem.....ENOUGH do. It wouldn't matter if a trillion more Muslims were certifiably as peaceful as us Modern Secular Humanists, no, Islam would STILL be ENOUGH of problem to want to discredit it forever. Have more compassion for the victims, and the many many future victims that are bound to be slaughtered. The dead don't care how many Muslims DIDN'T kill them!

ALL Muslims have a prophet who, by his example of being the "Perfect Man", encourages Muslim men to have sex with 9 year-old girls - because they believe Mohammad/Allah can do no wrong. So we have a problem, guys!

It's almost like the Democrats illogically defend the sheer inhuman barbarity in Islam because 87% of Muslims vote Democratic. Nah, Democrats are more concerned about doing the right thing that about politics.....right......right?

I read the title, the first post and then saw there were 49 pages to go... of which I read none.

But no, we don't ban religions here. Lets find another way deal with the problem.

I'm sure that whatever barbaric religion you are quoting from here is only an ancient, outdated religion, not taken seriously by modern peaceful people today.....the texts of those that follow ZEUS, perhaps. Or maybe Wotan?

It'd make things a lot easier if we could prove that their (or any) religion isn't true, but I've yet to see someone be able to convince a zealot, of any stripe, that what they believe is incorrect.

Religions all have mythological components that are not "true" in a factual sense, but the major phony religion threatening the ecumenical strength of the US is rabid Trumpery.

The fake messiah is crapping upon American values that are shared by all major religious business.

Yes, to be fair, we have to acknowledge that most ALL religion in anti-science, pro-magic, anti-women, anti-gay, etc. We have to keep religion out of the political sphere, such as Sharia Law, which is very political in nature.
