I wish this violence in the Middle East would stop.

 

Nothing new here ... Israel conducts terror attacks on a regular basis as well as both sides have been doing for decades.

Israel's attacks have been more effective at killing innocents ... Children killed by Israel are roughly 800% higher than the Hamas kill rate.

Heck .. even Israeli's complain about its governments wanton targeting of civilians .

It is only a 8 terror attacks that were been published, but there are alot more that arent. For instence, yesterday there were 145 terror atacks across the Land of Israel, and in the day before yesterday there were 100 terror attaks.

So now Israel should apologize when Israel is actually trying to protect it's civilians with Iron Dome, while Hamas has no such intention?

Most definitely. Jews are some of the smartest and rational of people in general. They question everything even God; this is their culture and it is why they are so smart. This does not stop some of them from doing evil ... but, you make a very good point.

Islam on the other hand teaches its adherents not to question ... anything is justified in the name of Allah. Children are subjected to sophisticated mind control techniques at a young age starting with the teaching that if the dare to "question" or reject the teachings of "The Book" or reject the faith they will be subjected to the worst thing the mind can imagine. Eternal torture in the afterlife.

We see the same phenomenon, although to a lesser degree, with the religious right.

The last agreement the Israeli Jews made with the Palestinians is that they would bugger off from the west bank in like 1999, but they only enlarged their colonies in a massive way / doing the exact opposite of what they said they would do.. mostly done through ethnic cleansing. That is not "some of them doing evil"... that's a fast majority that agrees with that. It's expressed in the way they vote.

I think all these incidents of 'terrorism' are either stone throwing or stabbings.

In relations to the stone throwings last night a video came out of plain clothes IDF encouraging Palestinians to throw stones before turning on them with guns and it would appear along with the usual kicking and punching, shooting one in the leg at point blank range while he was being held by other soldiers in plain clothes.

The stabbings of course result in swift hit back usually at least the killing of the criminal and the demolition of his family home. Here is one today. It resulted in death of the stabber, injury to 6 others one critically all being shot by either live bullets or rubber coated ones.

Obviously as well as the extreme right wing Israeli Government which has removed any hope of the Palestinians gaining any civic or other rights, as well as being thrown out of their East Jerusalem homes which are usually taken over by settlers, there has been trouble at the Al Aqsa mosque for several weeks now including the Israeli army entering and damaging it. Muslims of a certain age have not been allowed to go there to worship for many days - even the old city has been shut to Arabs who do not live there but not to Jews,

Clearly it is a very tense situation.

The mayor of Jerusalem has told Jews to carry firearms. Much talk about whether this is the third Intifada but no bombs or what we usually consider terrorism as of yet.

 

Maybe the new Israeli law allowing their military to use full live ammo on children who throw rocks has something to do with it.

Or, maybe it is the impunity with which Israelis assault the residents of West Bank.

Or, maybe it is the recent military assault on Gaza.

Or, maybe it is the Israeli action to deny Muslims access to holy sites.

Or, maybe it is Israel's increasing action on bulldozing Arab homes - as well as other ethnic cleansing action.

Or, ....

Oh, I give up. Maybe we should ask Palestinians what the problem is.

During the last talks things reached what surely must be an apex of sophistry when Israel demanded that they be allowed to continue ethnic cleansing DURING negotiations that had to consider where the border is.

Israel is gaining West Bank property and water rights through their ethnic cleansing program in West Bank and is getting the revenue from drilling Gaza's hydrocarbon reserves in Gaza's waters.

Maybe that's a clue as to why Israel has absolutely zero interest in ending this conflict.

The IDF asserts that he is their key partner in security and has had NOTHING to do with inciting people to violence.

Abbas forced the Hamas leadership of Gaza (which has for nearly two decades accepted Israel's permanence) to proscribe use of violent means. (Which I'm sure doesn't include defense against Israeli acts of war). Netanyahu's reaction was to crack down harder on Gaza, stealing taxes, augmenting the blockade (which is an act of war).
