The prosecution in the Zimmerman/Martin case is showing its desperation. Not having any real evidence to show that George Zimmerman did not act in self-defense, they are trying to contrive up an issue around the screams heard in the background of the 911 tape. Their expert has said it sounds like the screams of a young person, which would point to Trayvon Martin being the screamer (although Zimmerman himself was only 28, an age many people would consider "young"). The expert witness from the defense said it's undeterminable. Fact is, it could easily have been either one of these two guys, or even both of them. Zimmerman could have been screaming because he was being beat on by a 6 foot three inch thug, and pummeled with fists. Martin could have screamed when he first got sight of the gun (after having already attacked Zimmerman, and still attacking him while trying to rip the gun from him), and could also have screamed after being shot. Not everyone who gets shot dies right away. Some people even get shot multiple times, and survive. All in all, it could have been either or both, neither of which has any bearing on the truth or false of Zimmerman's self-defense claim.
the state is desperate and trying everything it can to convict george in order to appease the black community. it is sad. the truth doesn't matter to them, they only want a conviction. even though trayvon's own father said it wasn't his son yelling on the call the state wants to pay these "experts" to manufacture evidence to present to the court....again sad.
What will really be sad is if somehow they manage to contrive a win in the case. I've heard some not very bright remarks from some of those potential jurors. And just about any who are black are likely to chose to convict George no matter what the fats are, racist as so many of them are. I've heard some ludicrous remarks from them, like "Trayvon was just minding his own business" and "George should have obeyed the police dispatcher" Lots of empty heads out there.
As I said in the OP >>> "Martin could have screamed when he first got sight of the gun (after having already attacked Zimmerman, and still attacking him while trying to rip the gun from him)"
How can they get an impartial jury. Anyone who doesn't think Zimmerman is innocent of nothing more than self defense is a moron.
They are looking for people who say that they know nothing about the case. They live in Sanford, Florida and they know nothing of the case ? Could be they're going to have a jury of 6 baldfaced liars. God knows where that's going to go. My guess is they'll have a hung jury. Some will vote convict. Some will vote acquit.

Everyone who has heard the recording while not on drugs or otherwise incapacitated knows it was not a black guy screaming for help. That is obvious to people who are not totally ignorant of science.
IT DOESN'T MATTER Whose Voice It Was! Please refrain from making racist comments in this thread. It is about the Zimmerman/martin case, not about race.
Of course it does because it is evidence indicating that George was in extreme distress when he shot NLN.
That is already known by the eyewitnesses report to the police. And since BURDEN OF PROOF IS ON THE PROSECUTION, George could/should be acquitted even if there was no evidence of any kind.
Zimm has already admitted to killing TM, he's now offering an "affirmative defense" which means he has to show it was self defense. The pross still has to prove all the elements of the charge, but since Z has already copped they just have to prove it wasn't SD and that Z had a "depraved mind". I've never thought M2 was the goal of the Pross, manslaughter by verdict or plea.
FALSE! Zimmerman doesn't have to show anything. His whole defense team could say not one word in the whole trial and if the prosecution does not meet its burden to show proof of him guilty, then he remains innocent (innocent until proven guilty > by the prosecution)
