FDA grants full approval to Pfizer-BioNTech’s Covid shot, clearing path to more vaccine mandates

The Food and Drug Administration on Monday granted full approval to Pfizer and BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine – becoming the first in the U.S. to win the coveted designation and giving even more businesses, schools and universities greater confidence to adopt vaccine mandates.

Up until now, the mRNA vaccine, which will be marketed as Comirnaty, was on the U.S. market under an Emergency Use Authorization that was granted by the FDA in December. Since then, more than 204 million of the Pfizer shots have been administered, according to data compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

More employers now have the green light to require vaccinations. This approval may also give more people confidence that the vaccines are safe. No matter the magnitude of the impact this is a good thing in getting more people vaccinated.

I didn't read the link. Are they prioritizing our soldiers?

It was my understanding they couldn't require them to get vaccinated because it wasn't fully approved. I'm asking if that has changed now it's been fully approved?

I need to go look up the stats in my post history but I know there was some hoopla over some enlisted refusing the vax. I don't recall the percentages though. Let me see if I can find my post.

The excuse that the vaccine is "experimental" is no longer valid. Most likely Moderna will get fully approved as well, soon,

 

Yeah, I'm wondering what the non-vaxxers will start using as an excuse now that it's no longer just an 'experimental' drug.

 

They will always find something else. It changes your DNA so that you're no longer human and Bill Gates can file for ownership of you. It has a microchip put there by Bill Gates to control you. It will make you sterile. It will just plain kill you; just wait for a few more months and all vaccinated people will die. It's being pushed on us so that Pfizer profits from it (they don't seem to have any issue with Pfizer profiting from the sales of Viagra).

Some posters are so hypocritical. They talk about hating discrimination and bigotry but are very vocal about anything and anybody they hate. Some of them even associate with obvious racists on these forums while claiming they have zero tolerance for it.

It's funny how they shift their gifts to have their precious echo chambers. This is no different.

 

Anti-vaxxers don't really care what the "compelling reasons" are for accepting ANY vaccines. Many choose to selectively vaccinate. Some choose NO vaccinations.

They only offer excuses in answer to the people trying to bully them into taking vaccine(s). It doesn't matter what *new* information is out there.

And, the fact that some posters with significant medical experience choose to shame them and act self-righteously just deepens the divide.

Nobody in the history of the planet has ever been swayed by bullies with the exception of Orange Jesus worshippers but they have some kind of mental issues that give them selective hearing, vision and infinite supply of historical revisionism.

 

Worse! It turns you gay or transgender. Oh the horror! Down with the vaccines!

On the other hand, this might be a boom for sexual orientation rectification camps or whatever they call them. "We'll make of your son who turned gay after the vaccine, straight again; just transfer $200,000 to our account and we'll get it done in a matter of days!"
