Guys and gals, Do not feel as though you must jump onto this or another Party bandwagon. Not everything is either left or right. There are the uncomfortable grays in between, and it's okay to express them. It's okay to believe what you believe, without being instantly thrown into this box or that box. Boxes are convenient (hard-left liberal, or hard-right conservative), but they don't reflect the reality that is YOU. I personally cannot stand John Boehner. He is a drunk, he is a stale Washington DC politician, he is an egregious compromiser, and he is a crooked man. Many would instantly screech at me, "You are a foul, foul LIBERAL! I hate you!!" Trust me, I am neither foul, nor am I a liberal. I am me. I frequently post just how much I cannot stand the current President, and how I cannot abide his dishonesty, his incompetence, his perplexing arrogance, and his crookedness. Many would instantly screech at me, "You are a racist CONSERVATIVE!! I hate you!" Trust me, I am neither a racist, nor am I a conservative. I am simply me. I believe that Roe v Wade is water under the bridge, and there is no point trying to debate the abortion issue any further. Many would instantly screech at me, "You are a radical LEFTY!! I hate you!" Trust me, I am neither a radical, nor am I a lefty. I am simply me. A pragmatist. Women who want to abort their child are probably not suited (or prepared) to be good mothers, and so who wants any child to be born to an unfit or unprepared mother? I believe in the death penalty for vicious murderers, serial rapists, and molesters of children. Many would instantly screech at me, "You are a white-robe-wearing Reich-Winger!! I hate you!" Trust me, I am neither a robe-wearer, nor am I a Reich-Winger. I am simply me. People who murder with abandon, rape with abandon, and molest children with abandon should be put to death for the good of the rest of society. I have voted for an equal number of Republican Presidential candidates as Democrat Presidential candidates, and I have even voted for Independent Presidential candidates. Many would instantly screech at me, "You are ….. uh….. well… heck. I don't know what you are." The reality is that I am what I am. I am simply me. I'm a non-joiner. Non-partisan. I don't pledge allegiance to any political party. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and the Republic for which she stands. I care more for the good of the voters and citizens and taxpayers than I do the good of the crooked politicians in Washington DC who are steadily spending us into 18 TRILLION dollars of debt. Guys and gals, this is my advice; it is OKAY to be just you. You don't HAVE to feel like you need to choose sides (Republican or Democrat). You don't have to fall into the tired, stale culture of animosity that keeps most people wrapped up and angry. Just try to be a good American. Vote with your head and your heart. Live by your conscience, and let your conscience be your guide. Do more good than harm, okay? Just be yourself, and don't allow others to throw you into some box or brand.
