Trump will bow out and put Junior in his 2024 slot?

First he will start prepping his peanut gallery on the importance of the younger generation and put Junior in the spotlight.

Either way I don't believe Trump will run even though hanging the 2024 carrot is his only way to keep the $$$ coming in and enable him to keep dreaming of revenge and regaining what he claims was his absolute power as president.
So put sonny boy in the White House and move right in,

Makes lots of sense to me,

Trump gives new meaning to a "clusterf*ck"

DeSantis overtakes Trump as the 2024 presidential nominee Republicans prefer, new YouGov poll says

"A new poll shows that more Republicans would prefer to see Ron DeSantis as their 2024 presidential nominee than Donald Trump following the party's disappointing midterm election results.

42% of Republicans and Republican-leaners said they would prefer to see the Florida governor as the nominee, compared with 35% saying they would prefer the former president, according to a new YouGov America poll.

The poll, conducted in the three days following the elections, is a reversal from the results of a Yahoo News/YouGov poll last month, when 45% said they'd prefer Trump and 35% said they'd prefer DeSantis.

While DeSantis beat out Trump overall, scoring higher among "not very strong Republicans" and those that "lean towards" the GOP, Trump still edged him out among "strong Republicans," with 45% favoring him compared with 43% for DeSantis."

Looks like Trump accidentally confessed to tampering with Florida elections in 2018 which put DeSantis in the winner seat

Former President Donald Trump's claims of 'ballot theft' in Broward County prompt calls for investigation

'If the President was tampering with state ballots, we need to know,' Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried says

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A statement last week by former President Donald Trump is raising new questions about the 2018 Florida elections, prompting a call for the Department of Justice to investigate his actions.

Trump released a statement Thursday concerning how "votes were being stolen by the corrupt Election process in Broward County" while Gov. Ron DeSantis was facing off against Democratic challenger Andrew Gillum.

Desantis will replace Trump and the left will look back and bemoan it. Trump is an egomaniac with a cult of personality, but far far less of an ideological mindset and far less competent.

LOL. There might be a morsel of truth in that statement. Trump rants, raves and brags, but doesn't get anything done, while DeSantis would be more systematic in criminalizing abortion, speech ans pushing through social engineering efforts

When is the last time a former president has gone to jail for crimes committed while in office?

Hmm.. so this is you voicing your support for a guy you hate, so what? Democrats continue to win? Why should anyone think that you're being genuine here?

Where did you get the idea that this is about me? This is about YOUR party. However, I do understand that you would much rather talk about me than about the big mess the guy you supported has gotten your party into. However, he got the whole country into an even bigger mess. And Democrats are fixing it. So the good news for you is that it's possible that the mayhem Trump leaves behind in everything he touches, might be fixable.... maybe....

LOL.. ok, so let folks from our party have a discussion. As you have said this isn't about you. Perhaps you'd stay out of the discussion? I know, dare to dream, right? Never mind.

So, you support Trump finally. How amazing. I'd suggest that a "bigger mess" has never been made than the one Biden is brewing. Is this how you're intending to while away the hours until Biden is on the ballot again? Deflecting with orange man bad?

So I should stay out of any discussion that is not about me?

Hilarious! Even for you that's a very dumb statement.

LOL.. so why did you make it in the first place? If these comments aren't about you, why engage then? What is hilarious is that you believe you can shape conversation. And if that isn't your intent, why bother? And when you get called on doing this shaping, why cry about it? It is what you're doing after all...

What the hell are you talking about? It would be against forum rules to make a thread about me.

I engage THIS because it's about YOUR party. And you're trying to avoid the topic. Does that mean you joined the "running away from Trump" bandwagon?

I wouldn't run away from him quite yet, if I were you. Not until you have a worthwhile alternative. I don't think that's DeSantis. I don't think there will be one within this decade. So you might as well just stay with the Orange Prophet.

Oh... and remember: anybody who doesn't embrace him is a RINO.

It treated all of us very miserably. It elected and then re-elected the current status quo in power. Said status quo has shrugged its shoulders at national issues, claiming they're not the government's problem.

While it definitely is a bad result it is nowhere near has bad had republicans taken control.

The national deficit has decreased each year after increasing each year under trump. Budgets are being passed (zero government shutdowns). Bills that will improve the nation are being passed. We don’t have a president calling for the death of half the nation.

U.S. judge blocks Florida law curbing professor speech
    Source: Reuters

A U.S. judge on Thursday blocked key provisions of a Florida state law that curbs professors from endorsing particular viewpoints in public university classrooms, calling the measure "positively dystopian" in the latest blow to the Republican-enacted measure.

Chief U.S. District Judge Mark Walker in Tallahassee said in a 139-page ruling that Florida's Individual Freedom Act, also known as the Stop WOKE Act, would have unlawfully required public university professors to self-censor.

His ruling came in consolidated lawsuits filed by professors and students challenging the Individual Freedom Act, which Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis championed and signed into law in April. Critics said it amounted to a ban on Florida educators from endorsing certain race and gender concepts.

A professor, for instance, under the law would no longer be able to "express approval of affirmative action as an idea worthy of merit" during class instruction, the court said."

It isn't his fault. It probably has to do with where he gets his news
